A new lead complex, [Pb(mq)2], (mq = 2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinoline) was prepared via an electrochemical route from the oxidation of lead metal in the presence of 2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinoline in a fast and facile process. The complex was fully characterized by means of NMR and IR spectra and elemental analysis. The nanostructure of the prepared compound was obtained by sonoelectrochemical process and studied by scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Thermal stability of single crystalline and nanosize samples of the prepared compound was studied by thermal gravimetric and differential thermal analysis. The photoluminescence properties of the prepared compounds, as single crystals and as nanorods, have been investigated. The results showed a good correlation between the size and the shape of the complex particles and emission wavelength. The prepared complex was doped in PVK:PBD blend as guest and its application in the fabrication of OLED was studied. The ratio of lead complex was modified and was equal to 8 (w/w %) in PVK:PBD (100:40).  相似文献

We report on the utilization of an ultrathin buffer layer at the organic/organic (O/O) interface to enhance device efficiency in organic light‐emitting diodes. Two different kinds of buffer layers are examined: metal and dielectric. It is shown that employment of an ultrathin Ag layer with a thickness of 1–2 nm enhances the device performance, while a MgF2 dielectric buffer cannot affect the device properties considerably. In particular, the turn‐on voltage of the device with an appropriate buffer layer is reduced about 3 V, its current efficiency increases by a factor of more than three, and the power efficiency increases by a factor of more than five in comparison to the control device when a Ag buffer layer is introduced at the O/O interface. By employment of the buffer layer at the interface, an accumulation of current carriers appears within the device that redistribute the recombination profile toward the interior part of the emissive layer. Also, morphological examinations reveal that distinguishable phase segregation occurs in the blend of the hole‐transport layer. In particular, the polymer component remains at the surface and facilitates the hole transport into the successive layers. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. This paper presents management of groundwater resource using a Bayesian Decision Network (BDN). The Kordkooy region in North East of Iran has been selected as study area. The region has been sub-divided into three zones based on transmissivity (T) and electrical conductivity (EC) values. The BDN parameters: prior probabilities and Conditional Probability Tables - CPTs) have been identified for each of the three zones. Three groups of management scenarios have been developed based on the two decision variables including “Crop pattern” and “Domestic water demand” across the three zones of the study area: 1) status quo management for all three zones represent current conditions; 2) the effect of change in cropping pattern on management endpoints and 3) the effect of future increased domestic water demand on management endpoints. The outcomes arising from implementing each scenario have been predicted by use of the constructed BDN for each of the zones. Results reveal that probability of drawdown in groundwater levels of southern areas is relatively high compared with other zones. Groundwater withdrawal from northern and northwestern areas of the study area should be limited due to the groundwater quality problems associated with shallow groundwater of these two zones. The ability of the Bayesian Decision Network to take into account key uncertainties in natural resources and perform meaningful analysis in cases where there is not a vast amount of information and observed data available – and opportunities for enabling inputs for the analysis based partly on expert elicitation,emphasizes key advantages of this approach for groundwater management and addressing the groundwater related problems in a data-scarce area.  相似文献

Novel tin complexes were synthesized for use as fluorescent materials in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). The structures of these complexes were characterized by ultraviolet–visible, Fourier-transform infrared, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy methods and elemental analyses. The energy levels of the tin complexes were determined using cyclic voltammetry measurements. Devices were fabricated with an indium tin oxide (ITO)/PEDOT:PSS (90 nm)/PVK:PBD:tin complexes (75 nm)/Al (180 nm) structure; the resultant devices had peak emissions ranging from 537 nm to 580 nm. The tin complexes accounted for 8 wt.% of the blend in the PVK:PBD (100:40), which was used as a host. The electroluminescent spectra of the tin complexes were red-shifted as compared with the PVK:PBD blend. We believe that the electroluminescence performance of OLED devices based on tin complexes relies on overlaps between the absorption of the tin compounds and the emission of PVK:PBD.  相似文献

In this work we describe the effect of both fullerene and its oil-soluble amine derivative on antioxidative properties of ZDDP (zinc dialkyldithiophosphate, alky groups: isobutyl and isoamyl). An oxidation reaction in the presence of AIBN (as an initiator) was chosen as chemical probe to investigate mutual interaction of ZDDP with fullerene and its derivative. According to the experimental results, both fullerene C60 and its amine derivative show more antioxidative properties than ZDDP. Experimentally, it is concluded that the presence of these species increase the effect of ZDDP as antioxidant. This effect could be experimentally described in terms of the metal center of ZDDP.  相似文献

Rosette-like boehmite nanostructures were prepared successfully via a simple hydrothermal process. The obtained material was characterized with X-ray powder diffractometry (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Using Scherrer formula, the average crystallite size of the obtained boehmite rosettes was measured to be about 8 nm. It was shown that boehmite nanopetals with average width of about 41 nm determined by TEM, were formed during the hydrothermal process and then self assembled due to weak hydrogen bonds to fabricate boehmite rosettes. The specific surface area of the obtained rosette-like nanostructures was calculated through BET N2-adsorption technique to be about 143.08 m2/g.  相似文献

Non-linear optical (NLO) dyes used as guests in polymeric films have recently attracted interests in optical applications. In this regard, dye-grafted polymeric systems can outperform conventional guest?Chost dye-containing films because they have lower loading limitations and aggregation problems. These give rise to enhanced molecular orientation. The work presented here is an attempt to study the laser-induced birefringence for a novel sol?Cgel based polymeric nanocomposite prepared by reacting an NLO dye (methyl red) and an epoxy silane coupling agent at different concentrations of dye. 3-Glycidoxy propyltrimethoxysilane was hydrolyzed and condensed to prepare a siloxane structure from which a dye-containing hybrid was obtained. The structural and morphological properties of the resulting nanocomposites were studied by FTIR spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and transmission electron microscopy. Results showed that the dye was chemically attached to the siloxane structure built through sol?Cgel processing. This chemical modification leads to nanostructured morphology in which inorganic phase was entangled to the organic phase. The size of clusters formed was 60?C80?nm in dimension. The optical responses of nanocomposites were investigated at different process parameters, including dye concentration, film thickness and curing regimes. These were then discussed based on the photochemical and photothermal properties of the dye molecules, the rotation dynamic of which was shown to strongly depend on the physical and chemical properties of the host. The samples with 8 wt% of dye revealed the maximum birefringence, while the sample with 10 wt% showed the best memory effect. The best condition for curing was found to be 24?h. By increasing the film thickness, there was an increase in the amount of induced birefringence.  相似文献

Polymer dispersed liquid crystals (PDLCs) are often formed by polymer induced phase separation, based on photopolymerization of multifunctional acrylate monomers. The emerged morphology is controlled by the interplay between polymerization rate and phase separation dynamics, which depends on different parameters such as monomer structure and functionality. In this work, a new PDLC formulation containing urethane trimethacrylate (UTMA) monomer is introduced, which has different molecular weight evolution, polymer gel point, and polymerization kinetics in comparison with some common ester acrylate (such as TMPTA and DPHPA) based PDLC compositions. UTMA is synthesized and characterized by Fourier transform infrared, 1H‐NMR, and 13C‐NMR spectroscopic techniques. Simultaneous examination of polymer evolution and LC phase separation by real‐time infrared spectroscopy shows that the UTMA based PDLC, which contains trifunctional urethane acrylate monomer, has greater amount of bond conversion, polymerization rate, and liquid crystal (LC) phase separation in comparison with TMPTA based PDLC. In spite of the acrylate monomers, which show gel point conversions as low as 1.83–5.72%, UTMA reaches to its maximum rate at 19.5% conversion, which causes higher phase separation and therefore greater LC domain size. The experimental results are explained more precisely by means of SEM and optical microscopy analyses. The results are confirmed by electro‐optics measurements. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. NaLuF4 doped Yb/Tm upconversion phosphor was synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method, using EDTA as a chelating agent. The influence of synthesis parameters was investigated on UV emission intensity through face-centered central composite design (CCD). Four parameters including F:RE ratio, pH value, reaction time and ethanol percent were considered as independent variables. It was found that pH value and F:RE ratio have the highest effect on emission intensity and the ethanol percent and the reaction time have mild and low influence on it. Furthermore, at pH 4, nano spherical particles with cubic phase were formed and change of other parameters had low influence on phase transformation. However, the hexagonal micro prisms with the hexagonal phase were predominant at pH?≥?6. The role of EDTA was indicated on phase transformation and aggregation of particles at the various value of pH. It was shown that the crystal phase, the surface smoothness and the particle size are influential factors on UV emission intensity.  相似文献

Fabrication of an all-optical switchable holographic liquid crystal (LC) Fresnel lens based on azo-dye-doped polymer-dispersed LCs is reported using a Michelson interferometer. It is found that, upon circularly polarized photoirradiation, the diffraction efficiency of the fabricated Fresnel lens was increased significantly in a reversible manner. We believe this is due to the anisotropy induced by reorientation of the LC molecules coupled with azo-dye molecule orientation due to trans-cis-trans photoisomerization, which modulates the refractive index of the LC-rich regions. We also studied the effect of azo dye on the polarization dependency of the fabricated lens.  相似文献
