A new lateral MOS-gated thyristor with controlling base-current

A new lateral MOS-gated thyristor, called the Base-Current-Controlled Thyristor, is described. This device is designed so that most holes at the on-stage reach the P base through the floating P⁺ region adjacent to the P base and the on-state MOSFET. At the turn-off stage, the interruption of the hole current to the P base due to switching off the above MOSFET occurs simultaneously with the conventional turn-off operation. The concept of this device is verified experimentally by using the fabricated lateral device with the external MOSFET. This device exhibits a better trade-off relation between the on-state voltage and the turn-off time compared uith the conventional MOS-gated thyristor     

YM-32890 A and B, new types of macrolide antibiotics produced by Cytophaga sp

Two new types of macrolide antibiotics, YM-32890 A and B, have been isolated from the fermentation broth of cytophaga sp. YL-02905S. In this paper, the taxonomy of the producing strain, fermentation, isolation, structure elucidation, and biological activity of the antibiotics are reported. YM-32890 A inhibits the growth of staphylococci including a macrolide-resistant strain, but shows no antimicrobial activity against other Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria and yeast.     

浅谈“水源空调“在丹东市的推广使用

本文通过对“水源空调”的介绍,结合丹东市的地质情况,分析论证其在我市推广使用的可行性。     

A unified proposal for characteristic testing methods and figure of merit of 8‐kV/3.5‐kVA class light‐triggered thyristors

Power devices with high capability have been developed. 8‐kV/3.5‐kA‐class light‐triggered thyristors have the highest capability among power devices. These devices are used in the Kii Channel HVDC transmission system in Japan. In this paper, we report the extracted problems of conventional testing methods of 8‐kV/3.5‐kA‐class light‐triggered thyristors among manufacturers, and the proposed unified testing methods on the basis of element characteristics and operating conditions in the Kii Channel HVDC system. Furthermore, we propose a figure of merit for power devices for the practical use, and try to extract elements used at the Kii Channel HVDC system with small margins and low withstand capabilities. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 刮板输送机接链用千斤拉的研究

针对刮板输送机的掐链、接链问题,研制出新型掐、接链用千斤拉,介绍了该装置的结构特点和工作原理,并对使用效果进行了分析。     

STM tunneling spectroscopy on high Tc superconductors

STM tunneling spectroscopy has been performed on the bulk single crystals of BiSrCaCuO (BSCCO) and the epitaxial thin films of YBaCuO (YBCO) at cryogenic temperatures. The STM images and tunneling spectra observed on the (001) surfaces can be classified into three cases; 1) Atomic image is visible. However, the tunneling spectrum shows semiconducting or smeared superconducting gap structures, depending on the tip-sample distance. 2) Clear atomic image can not be obtained. But, the tunneling spectrum shows flat bottom region with quite low zero bias conductance. 3) Tunneling spectra demonstrate gapless behavior, independent of the tip-sample separation. These observations support the quasi-2D electronic picture in whichs-wave like 2D superconducting layers are coupled with each other through the Josephson effect.     

Quasi-optical waveguide-mode converters using a pair of phase correction mirrors

This paper describes a quasi-optical method for the conversion of modes transmitted through highly oversized circular waveguides. A waveguide-mode is radiated once from a waveguide cut in the form of a radiation beam, which is then properly shaped by two curved mirrors and directed back into the waveguide. The curved mirror shapes are iteratively and automatically determined for given propagation distances using the design technique for phase correction mirrors. The proposed method gives favorable results in designing a waveguide expander/reducer, a TE₀₁-TE₀₂ mode converter, and a TE₀₁-HE₁₁ mode converter.

Heterogeneous object modeling: A review

A review on the recent development in heterogeneous object modeling is provided in this paper. General problems and prevalent solutions to the modeling of heterogeneous objects are investigated. Vigorous heterogeneous object representations are roughly classified into three major categories: evaluated models, unevaluated models and composite models. We reveal their similarities and study their strengths and weaknesses in terms of the representational capacities, intuitiveness, exactness, compactness, efficiency and other criteria. Different design paradigms are briefly reviewed to provide an overview of the state-of-the-art in heterogeneous object design. Finally, open problems and possible future directions are discussed.     

基于Mega8单片机和AD9833的正弦波信号发生器

正弦波信号作为一种基准信号广泛应用于各种电路中，产生正弦波信号的方法有很多种，DDS（Direct Digital Frequency Synthesis直接数字频率舍成器）作为一种新型技术，具有相对带宽宽，频率转换时间短，频率分辨率高，控制灵活方便等优点，成为现代频率合成技术中的佼佼者。AD公司生产的AD9833是一款低功耗、可编程波形发生器，在Mega8单片机的控制下可生成0-12．5MHz的正弦波，还可以生成三角波和方波。经现场验证，基于Mega8单片机和AD9833的正弦波信号发生器，可以非常方便地生成各种频率的正弦波。
