An anticarbamazepine antibody was detected in the serum of a patient with severe carbamazepine-induced serum sickness. We found that the patient's T cells and IgG antibody recognized an epitope which appeared in subjects showing an allergic reaction, as well as that in subjects who showed no allergic reaction, after long-term carbamazepine therapy. These results show that an anti-carbamazepine immune response does not occur in the majority of subjects who undergo long-term carbamazepine therapy without developing allergic symptoms, although the immunodominant haptenic epitope of carbamazepine is present in their sera. 相似文献

A 20 MHz single-element ultrasonic probe using 0.91Pb(Zn(1/3 )Nb(2/3))O(3)-0.09PbTiO(3) (PZN-PT 91/9) single crystal has been fabricated. The single crystal of PZN-PT 91/9 orientated to the (001) plane has longitudinal coupling factor of k(33)>90%, which is much larger than the k(33)=70 to 80% of conventional Pb(Zr(1-x),Ti(x))O(3) (PZT) based ceramics. A single crystal of PZN-PT 91/9 without inclusion or crack has been grown with dimensions of about 25x15x5 mm by the self-flux method. Because mechanical strength in the fabrication of disk transducers orientated to the (001) plane was sufficiently strong, under the same conditions as are applied to conventional PZT ceramics, a piston single-element probe with a diameter of 2.0 mm and a frequency of 20 MHz was successfully fabricated. The bandwidth of the PZN-PT 91/9 probe was 13-26 MHz, which was 4 MHz broader than that of the conventional PZT probe. 相似文献

A high-quality single crystal of Pb((Zn1/3 Nb2/3 )0.91 Ti0.09 )O3 (PZNT 91/9), 40 mm in diameter and 20 mm in length, was successfully grown using the solution Bridgman method with a slight excess amount of ZnO. High-quality wafers were sliced from the light-brown single crystal. No PbO inclusions or opaque areas were observed in the transparent wafers. An array probe for echocardiography was constructed with the single-crystal wafer, and its superior performance was demonstrated. 相似文献

In this study, we investigated the influence of the difference in the chemical structures of hyaluronic acid (HA), sodium hyaluronate (Na-HA), and starch water-soluble polysaccharides and the difference in sample shape (as-received samples and membranes) on water vapor solubility. The sorption at this time was characterized by a Fickian diffusion increase at one stage, but HA and starch had a non-Fickian diffusion increase at the two stages in the high humidity region of 52% or more. In addition, all sorption isotherms of HA, Na-HA, and starch did not depend on the sample shape and had an extended dual-mode sorption type behavior consisting of Flory–Huggins and dual-mode sorption types. Furthermore, the infinite dilution solubility coefficient for water molecules increased with increasing surface free energy and correlates with the surface free energy obtained from the contact angle of water of HA, Na-HA, and starch membranes. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We examined the effects of dietary proso-millet protein on plasma levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol in different rats from animals reported in our previous studies. The results showed also, in this animal, that the ingestion of the millet protein elevates plasma levels of HDL-cholesterol like our earlier works. Taking into account the anti-atherogenic function of HDL, therefore, the millet protein would be useful as a new food ingredient which has the function that regulates cholesterol metabolism. 相似文献

A two-stage pressurized fluidized-bed gasification process has been developed to produce low-heating value gases from coal char. The reactor was 0.075 m id. and 1.4 m long, and gasification experiments were conducted under pressures up to 790 kPa and at temperatures up to 1323 K. A partition disc was used to divide the fluidized bed into two stages, using the first stage as a partial combuster and gasifier and the second stage as a gasifier. The disc was designed to control compositions of coal char particles in both stages so that the heat required for the endothermic gasification reaction in the second stage can be provided by the heat of combustion in the first
For conditions examined here, the disc with an opening ratio of 40° was found to give optimum distribution of the char particles in both stages without ash agglomeration. It was also shown that all oxygen gas was completely consumed within the first stage

Piezoelectric Pb((Zn1/3 Nb2/3 )0.91 Ti0.09 )O3 (PZNT 91/9) single crystals 40 mm in diameter were successfully grown from solution by the Bridgman method with a PbO flux. The crystals were grown in a platinum crucible heated to 1130°C. Growth rate was 0.35 mm/h. The obtained crystals were ~40 mm in diameter 20 mm in length and were a rust-brown color. The Curie temperature, T C , ranged from 175° to 185°C, and the dielectric constant before poling at room temperature was 2000-8900 within a wafer. After electrical poling, specimens had electromechanical coupling coefficients in rectangular bar mode, k 33´ , of 79%-88%, which were larger than for PZT ceramics ( k 33´ < 70%). These PZNT 91/9 single crystals grown by the Bridgman process satisfy the requirements for array-type transducers used in echocardiographic equipment. Results confirm that the Bridgman method is useful for mass-producing large crystals of PZNT 91/9. 相似文献

A 0.91Pb(Zn(1/3)Nb(2/3))O(3)-0.09PbTiO (3) (PZN-PT) single crystal with high electromechanical coupling factor (k(33))>90% has been used to fabricate a 40-channel phased array ultrasonic probe with greater sensitivity and broader bandwidth than conventional probes. This probe has a center frequency of 3.5 MHz and an aperture of about 6.0x7.5 mm. The standard probe fabrication process was modified for PZN-PT. The dispersion of echo signals was within +/-20% of the mean value. After recovery poling, the echo amplitude of the PZN-PT single-crystal probe is 8 and 5 dB higher than that of one- and two-matching-layer PZT probes, respectively. Moreover, the fractional bandwidth of the single-matching-layer PZN-PT probe is broader than that of the two-matching-layer PZT probes. The PZN-PT single crystals provide great improvements in the sensitivity and bandwidth of phased array probes. 相似文献

We reported a case with severe mitral regurgitation caused by total rupture of the posterior papillary muscle two days after aortic valve replacement. A 62-year-old man was transferred to our hospital with high fever and dyspnea with severe aortic regurgitation caused by infective endocarditis. The left heart failure occurred suddenly two days after the initial operation. Echocardiogram revealed massive mitral regurgitation and rupture of the posterior papillary muscle. He underwent emergent mitral valve replacement. Histological examination of the papillary muscle showed typical ischemic necrosis without inflammation. The postoperative course was uneventful. We suggested the papillary muscle rupture in this case may be due to coronary artery emboli occurred in association with infective endocarditis. 相似文献

From archival records, we assessed outcomes achieved by preschoolers with both severe mental retardation and autistic features: (a) an experimental group (n = 11), which received intensive behavioral treatment, and (b) a comparison group (n = 10), which received minimal treatment. At intake (mean CA = 3.08 years), the groups did not differ significantly on any variable. At follow-up children in the experimental group obtained a higher mean IQ and evinced more expressive speech than did those in the comparison group. Behavior problems diminished in both groups. Results indicate that intensively treated children achieved clinically meaningful gains relative to the comparison group but remained quite delayed. 相似文献
