The influence of continuous casting of steel on the high-temperature plasticity of microalloyed steel is investigated. The Gleeble-3800 system is used for the physical modeling of the steel’s hot plasticity. The temperature ranges of plasticity are determined in different conditions of slab cooling in the continuouscasting machine. In all the simulations, a trough is seen on the temperature dependence of the steel’s plasticity. With enlargement of the grain boundaries (decrease in grain size), the high-temperature plasticity increases.  相似文献

Computer experiments based on a drop-test model show that the ductile component in sample fracture is much reduced by a random factor—the weak link. The weak link (measuring a few mm) must be transverse to the sheet surface and in the direction of impact. The weak link may be the primary boundaries formed in melt solidification. These boundaries, which are rich in impurities, alloying elements, and nonmetallic inclusions, may be inherited by the hot-rolled metal. In some cases, their stability may result in impurity retardation.  相似文献

The effect of fractional high-temperature thermomechanical treatment, i.e., HTMT (overall degree of deformation 20–70%, duration of the post-deformation period 0–10 sec), on the structure and physicomechanical properties of -alloys of the copper-aluminum-zinc system is studied. The promising nature is demonstrated of using HTMT with the aim of improving mechanical properties with retention of high damping capacity for -alloys based on copper-aluminum with reverse martensitic transformation. The Bauschinger effect is investigated on samples of microalloyed pipe steel. Tests are conducted with one and several extension-compression cycles on a Gleeble-3800 system, at room temperature and elevated temperatures. The influence of temperature on the final sheet properties is considered in conditions of small alternating deformation, so as to simulate the straightening of hot-rolled sheet. The successive influence of each cycle on the final properties of the metal is demonstrated. The strength of the final strip may be modified by 150 MPa, depending on the selected straightening temperature.  相似文献
