Abstract

A constant voltage microcomputer controlled welding source is used for on-line detection of weld penetration. By adding an instantaneous pulse at regular intervals to the normal welding current the molten pool is excited to oscillate in stationary TIG arc welding. By analysing the signal, the relationship between the frequency of molten pool oscillation and weld penetration is studied and a mathematical model, the weld pool oscillation equation, is established. Using a finite difference equation to solve the eigenvalue problem of the molten pool oscillation, a numerical solution can be obtained. Experimental results obtained from welding 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 20 # and 16Mn steel show good agreement with the theoretical predictions.  相似文献

The in vitro anticancer activity of the dinuclear trithiolato‐bridged arene ruthenium complex diruthenium‐1 (DiRu‐1) was evaluated against a panel of human cancer cell lines used as in vitro models for hepatocellular carcinoma (HepG2 cells), estrogen‐responsive breast adenocarcinoma (MCF‐7 cells), and triple‐negative breast adenocarcinoma (MDA‐MB‐231 cells). DiRu‐1 is highly cytotoxic to these cell lines, demonstrating half‐maximal inhibitory concentrations (IC50) in the low‐nanomolar range (77±1.4 to 268.2±4.4 nm ). The main molecular mechanisms responsible for the high cytotoxicity of DiRu‐1 against the most responsive MCF‐7 cell line (IC50=77±1.4 nm) were investigated on the basis of the capacity of DiRu‐1 to induce oxidative stress, apoptosis, and DNA damage, and to inhibit the cell cycle and proliferation. The results show that DiRu‐1 triggers caspase‐dependent apoptosis in MCF‐7 cells on both the intrinsic and extrinsic pathways. Moreover, the Ru complex also causes necrosis, mitotic catastrophe, and autophagy. DiRu‐1 increases the intracellular levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which play a significant role in its cytotoxicity and pro‐apoptotic activity. An important mechanism of the anticancer activity of DiRu‐1 appears to be the induction of DNA lesions, mainly due to apoptotic DNA fragmentation and cell‐cycle arrest at the G2/M checkpoint. These changes are correlated with the concentration of DiRu‐1, the duration of the cell treatment, and the post‐treatment time.  相似文献

The Co-Ni-MoxOy powders were obtained electrochemically at a constant current density from ammonia electrolyte. Ni and Co were anomalously deposited, inducing Mo deposition, which cannot be deposited separately from aqueous solutions. The obtained Co-Ni-MoxOy powders were investigated by energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electon microscope (SEM) methods. Based on the obtained experimental results, it was concluded that the particle size of deposited powders is influenced by the chemical composition of the electrolyte and current density imposed. XRD results suggested that obtained powders were of amorphous structure, although a Co3Mo compound can be formed if certain experimental conditions are applied.  相似文献

A vailable national guidelines for disinfection practice, and for the examination of bacteriological quality, are reviewed, together with the legislative requirements of the EC 'Drinking Water'Directive. Problems of impracticability, vagueness, and ambiguity are identified.
Experience of the maintenance of bacteriological quality in large, lowland, surface water and ground-water supply areas is given with reference to the behaviour of disinfectant residuals, trihalomethanes, nitrite, and aesthetic parameters. The way forward in terms of the management of distribution systems and water treatment is discussed.  相似文献

For groundwater transport modeling on a scale of 10–100 m, detailed information about the spatial distribution of hydraulic conductivity is of great importance. At a test site (10×20 m) in the alluvial gravel-and-sand aquifer of the perialpine Thur valley (Switzerland), four different methods were applied on different scales to assess this parameter. A comparison of the results showed that multilevel slug tests give reliable results at the required scale. For its analysis, a plausible value of the anisotropy ratio of hydraulic conductivity (K v /K h ) is needed, which was calculated using a pumping test. The integral results of pumping tests provide an upper boundary of the natural spectrum of hydraulic conductivity at the scale of the test site. Flowmeter logs are recommended if the relative distribution of hydraulic conductivity is of primary importance, while sieve analyses can be used if only a rough estimate of hydraulic conductivity is acceptable.  相似文献
