The changes in composition and some biochemical properties of Örgü cheeses made from raw (RMC) and pasteurized (PMC) cow milk were investigated during a 90-day ripening period. The average contents of total solids (TS), protein, water soluble nitrogen (WSN), trichloro-acetic acid soluble nitrogen (TCA-SN) and acid degree value (ADV) were lower, while salt and salt in TS were found to be statistically higher in PMC than RMC (P < 0.05). In addition, in both RMC and PMC, the TS and protein contents were decreased as compared to an increase in salt, salt in TS, WSN and TCA-SN contents, and ADV, during ripening (P < 0.05). The evaluation of WSN, TCA-SN and ADV shows that these two experimental Örgü cheese types undergo little proteolysis and lipolysis. On the other hand, acidity development was observed to be high in both before curdling and in cheese made from raw milk during ripening.  相似文献

Retardation in fatigue crack growth rate following the application of single and periodic tensile overloads was studied for 2024‐T3 and 7075‐T6 aluminium alloys. Tests were performed at constant stress and at constant stress intensity factor ranges, at a load ratio of R= 0.1, at a baseline ΔK in the 10–20 MPa√m range which corresponds to the Paris regime. Overload ratios of 1.3–1.65 were studied with overload spacing, n, varying from 20 to 10 000 cycles. 2024‐T3 displayed an order of magnitude higher retardation, Nd, due to single tensile overloads compared to 7075‐T6. Periodic overloads induced maximum retardation when n/Nd≈ 0.5 for both alloys, the magnitude being only 15% higher for 2024‐T3.  相似文献

This study presents the Langmuir and Faraday probe measurements conducted to determine the plume characteristics of the BUSTLab microwave electrothermal thruster (MET). The thruster, designed to operate at 2.45 GHz frequency, is run with helium, argon and nitrogen gases as the propellant. For the measurements, the propellant volume flow rate and the delivered microwave power levels are varied. Experiments with nitrogen gas revealed certain operation regimes where a very luminous plume is observed. With the use of in-house-built Langmuir probes and a Faraday probe with guard ring, thruster plume electron temperature, plasma density and ion current density values are measured, and the results are presented. The measurements show that MET thruster plume effects on spacecraft will likely be similar to those of the arcjet plume. It is observed that the measured plume ion flux levels are very low for the high volume flow rates used for the operation of this thruster.  相似文献
