This paper considers thermochemical recuperation (TCR) of waste-heat using natural gas reforming by steam and combustion products. Combustion products contain steam (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), and ballast nitrogen (N2). Because endothermic chemical reactions take place, methane steam-dry reforming creates new synthetic fuel that contains valuable combustion components: hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO), and unreformed methane (CH4). There are several advantages to performing TCR in the industrial furnaces: high energy efficiency, high regeneration rate (rate of waste-heat recovery), and low emission of greenhouse gases (CO2, NOx). As will be shown, the use of TCR is significantly increasing the efficiency of industrial furnaces – it has been observed that TCR is capable of reducing fuel consumption by nearly 25%. Additionally, increased energy efficiency has a beneficial effect on the environment as it leads to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.  相似文献

Conclusions In the formulation of new ferrite materials for magnetic head cores starting raw materials and conditions of preparation of ferrite powders must be chosen with regard to the conditions prevailing in the hot-pressing process. The differences in the properties of the two hot-pressed ferrite batches investigated are attributable to the difference in the activities of the ferric oxide grades used (MM2 and SP) in the solid-phase synthesis and sintering reactions. Use of grade MM2 ferric oxide in the preparation of ferrite powders and hot pressing and annealing under optimum conditions (psp = 40 MPa, Thp = 1663°K, ih = 2.4 ksec, Tann = 1613°K and ann = 7.2 ksec) enable specimens to be obtained combining high values of initial magnetic permeability (in = 10,000) and density.Translated from Poroshkovaya Metallurgiya, No. 2(230), pp. 79–82, February, 1982.  相似文献

Code combinations of 2 n symbols +1 and –1 suggested for identification of characteristic features leading edge, trailing edge, maximum, minimum, horizontal portion, start of leading edge, end of leading edge, start of trailing edge, and end of trailing edge in a binary-code envelope of a pulse measured by an eddy-current transducer (ECT) scanning a tested surface generate a group code. This group code ensures for four levels of noise immunity the maximal likelihood in identification of reference sequences distorted by noise. The structure of a product code, which is also generated by the reference fragments, results in a higher capability of correcting for errors in moving samplings of signal envelopes, in particular, it reduces the degree of uncertainty in identification of the most important features of ECT pulses. The paper suggests simple decoding algorithms and regular logical structures that provide a high efficiency of the procedure eliminating errors in binary sequences of coded envelopes.  相似文献
