A new method of implementing efficient FIR filters is presented. It involves approximation of an equiripple FIR by a rounding operation and application of the derived impulse response by a simple recursive equation. High-precision powder bed fusion (PBF), together with highly complex geometries necessitate a much more scalable representation of the geometry and an efficient computational pipeline. This paper presents a new digital design and manufacturing paradigm to solve the scalability and efficiency challenges by using the concept of STL-free workflow. It seamlessly integrates implicit solid modelling for design and direct slicing for manufacturing without any intermediate steps related to STL meshes. The presented paradigm has been validated by two case studies involving complex geometries filled with multiscale triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS), which are fabricated by PBF with laser beam size 25 µm.  相似文献

We review the recent progress of electrically injected and optically pumped mid-IR lasers based on antimonide quantum wells with the type II W configuration. W quantum-well diodes have achieved cw operation up to 195 K at lambda = 3.25 mum. Optically pumped devices that employ the diamond pressure bond heat sink have reached 290 K at 3 mum and 210 K at 6 mum. Pulsed power conversion efficiencies of up to 7% at 220 K have been attained by use of an optical pumping injection cavity approach, in which an etalon cavity for the pump beam significantly enhances its absorptance. The angled-grating distributed-feedback configuration has been used to obtain near-diffraction-limited output for an optical pumping stripe width of 50 mum.  相似文献

Low energy proton beams are produced by ns pulsed Nd:Yag laser operating in repetition rate at intensities of the order of 1010 W/cm2. Laser pulses interacting with thick and thin solid hydrogenated targets, placed in high vacuum, produce non-equilibrium plasmas with ion emission in backward and forward directions along the normal to the target surface.The ion emission is analyzed with time-of-flight techniques by using ion collectors and ion deflecting spectrometers. The spectra analysis permits the evaluation of the plasma temperature, density, proton energy and current, ion energy and charge state distributions.Special targets, based on thin polymers coupled to metals or to conducting nanostructures, induce high electric field in the plasma and confer high kinetic energy to the protons, up to about 200 eV.By using a post-acceleration system, placed along the target normal direction, it is possible to accelerate further the protons up to the energy depending on the applied acceleration voltage. The maximum proton energy of 30 keV, the current density of about10 nA/cm2 and the beam quality can be improved, as discussed.  相似文献

Citrate coated magnetite nanoparticles (NPs) were prepared by a modified coprecipitation technique in the presence of sodium citrate and sodium acetate. The citrate coated NPs showed a close particle size distribution, superparamagnetic behavior, and single crystalline nature. Water dispersions of magnetite NPs were analyzed by laser diffraction; this technique revealed that the NPs form micrometer sized aggregates. It was found that the size of the aggregates depends strongly on the time of ultrasonic agitation and the citrate shell.  相似文献

It must be assumed that current petri dish primary hepatocyte culture models do not supply sufficient amounts of oxygen and thus cause anaerobic metabolism of the cells. This is contrary to the physiologic state of the cells. In vivo the liver is a highly vascularized organ with a rather high blood flow rate of a mixture of arterial and venous blood. The aim of the present study was to show the oxygen dependence of primary rat hepatocytes in long-term culture and to define appropriate conditions that could allow hepatocytes to maintain tissue specific functions in an aerobic environment. To this purpose matrix overlaid hepatocytes were either cultured on gas-permeable (fluorinated hydrocarbon films) or gas-impermeable (polystyrene) supports at 10% and 20% ambient oxygen concentration (v/v), respectively. Tissue-specific functions were assessed by studying albumin and urea secretion as well as xenobiotic metabolism. The mRNA expression and catalytic activities of the cytoprotective antioxidant enzymes mitochondrial manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD), cytosolic copper and zinc superoxide dismutase, peroxisomal catalase, and cytosolic glutathione peroxidase were investigated to assess intracellular responses to the defined variations in oxygen supply. Hepatocytes could successfully be maintained at aerobic conditions in long-term culture on gas-permeable PTFE films. At 50% (10%, v/v) of currently used oxygen levels lactate accumulation was prevented, a plateau-like albumin secretion reestablished, urea secretion improved, and xenobiotic metabolism proceeded at physiological rates. mRNA expression of cytoprotective enzymes responded to the pericellular availability of oxygen and was most pronounced in the case of MnSOD. However, the biggest stress factor for the hepatocytes still appeared to be the isolation procedure, as mRNA expression and catalytic activities were most elevated shortly thereafter. In conclusion, this study clearly shows the oxygen dependence of primary rat hepatocytes in long-term culture and indicates means to establish appropriate conditions for the aerobic culture of primary rat sandwich hepatocytes with full maintenance of function. The long-term culture of hepatocytes on oxygenating supports at in vivo-like oxygen tensions therefore appears to be more physiologic and beneficial for the cells.  相似文献

In the present study, white light emission based on both upconversion and thermal processes from single-phase yttrium silicate nanopowder doped with Neodymium (III) (Nd3+) was investigated at both room pressure and vacuum (0.01 mbar) with a diode laser excitation of 808 nm. 1% Nd3+ doped (per mole) yttrium silicate (Y2O3:SiO2) nanopowder was synthesized by using the sol-gel method and annealed at 1250 °C for 12 h to obtain the powder form. Emission for upconverted white light mainly due to the transitions of Nd3+ ions was obtained below ~ 5.79 W of the laser beam power at atmospheric pressure. For powers exceeding ~ 5.79 W, the powder emitted a thermal white light (WL) due to the photon avalanche mechanism together with thermal processes. The threshold power to obtain thermal white light with the transitions of Nd3+ ions was decreased to ~ 3.51 W at the vacuum condition. These processes were investigated in detail by studying the spectral differences of the rise and decay patterns at atmospheric pressure and vacuum conditions.  相似文献

The reactions of propargyl alcohols with carbon dioxide in supercritical carbon dioxide or in acetonitrile with gaseous carbon dioxide in the presence of organic bases as catalysts have been examined. Bicyclic guanidines are effective catalysts for the formation of α‐methylene cyclic carbonates under mild reaction conditions. Oxoalkyl carbonates, oxoalkyl carbamates or α‐methyleneoxazolidinones are obtained in high yields and good selectivities in one‐step starting from propargyl alcohols and an external nucleophile (alcohols or amines) using bicyclic guanidines as catalysts in supercritical carbon dioxide. Propargylic diols under the same reaction conditions underwent a rearrangement process instead of carbon dioxide insertion whereas in the presence of an external nucleophile the formation of oxocarbonates, oxocarbamates or cyclic carbamates was achieved in satisfactory yields.  相似文献

In February 2000, the project called coil support structure for the Wendelstein 7-X fusion machine was started. Since October 2009 the full production of this big (80 tons) and complex component is now completed and delivered at IPP Greifswald. The W7-X coil system consists of 20 planar and 50 non-planar coils. They are supported by a pentagonal 10 m diameter, 2.5 m high called coil support structure (CSS). The CSS is divided into five modules and each module consists of two equal half modules around the radial axis. Currently, the five modules were successfully assembled with the coils meeting the tight manufacturing tolerances. Designing, structural calculation, raw material procurement, welding & soldering technologies, milling, drilling, accurate machining, helium cooling pipe forming, laser metrology, ultra sonic cleaning and vacuum test are some of the key points used all along this successful manufacturing process. The lessons learned in the large scale production of this difficult kind of support structure will be presented as relevant experience for the realization of similar systems for future fusion devices, such as ITER.  相似文献
