A 1 m gain length, electron-beam-pumped xenon fluoride laser (λ=353, 351 nm) utilizing two laser mixtures of lean and rich NF 3, with Xe and balance Ne, which was operated with a confocal unstable resonator with magnification of 2.24, is discussed. The resultant beam quality was diagnosed with both shearing interferometry to measure near-field phase, and far-field focal-spot evaluation techniques. These measurements resulted in a beam quality of <1.15 times the diffraction limit with no evidence of the wide angle energy loss. The laser was fully characterized with regard to electron-beam deposition uniformity, transient refractive index effects, and optical quality of the resonator and diagnostic components  相似文献

Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) experiments in hydrogen have been performed with a collimated beam from ane-beam pumped XeF laser operating at 353 nm. An unstable resonator provided good beam quality at energies of about 1.2 J and pulse lengths of about 320 ns. A folded-path Raman cell allowed cell lengths to be continuously varied up to 11 m at a hydrogen pressure of 10 atm. Energy conversion efficiencies of >45 percent to first Stokes (S1) at 414 nm and >40 percent to second Stokes (S2) at 500 nm were observed with no indication of significant four-wave processes.  相似文献

A protocol for nanostructuring and electropolymerization of a hybrid semiconductor polycarbazole-titanium oxide ultrathin film is described. Ultrathin (<100 nm) films based on polycarbazole precursor polyelectrolytes and titanium oxide (TiOx) have been fabricated by combining the layer-by-layer (LbL) and surface sol-gel layering techniques. Film growth was followed and confirmed through UV-vis spectroscopy, ellipsometry and quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM-D). Subsequent anodic electrochemical oxidation of the carbazole pendant units afforded a conjugated polymer network (CPN) film within intercalating TiOx layers of cross-linked and π-conjugated carbazole units. Cyclic voltammetry (CV), UV-vis, and fluorescence spectroscopy measurements confirmed this process. The LbL-driven polyelectrolyte deposition process resulted in a quantified electrochemical response, proportional to the number of layers, while the TiOx acted as a dielectric spacer limiting electron transfer kinetics and attenuating energy transfer in fluorescence. Electro-optical properties were compared with other polycarbazole thin film materials with respect to bandgap energy (Eg). The straightforward protocol in film nanostructuring and barrier/dielectric properties of the inorganic oxide slab (denoted here as, TiOx) should enable applications in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), dielectric mirrors, planar waveguides, and photovoltaic devices for these hybrid ultrathin films.  相似文献

We present a multilevel model of energy transfer in the XeF ground electronic state due to collision-induced VT and dissociation processes. The model, whose parameters are based on experimental results presented here and on other recent data, should be useful in accurate simulations of output efficiency and multiline laser oscillation in XeF. Effective lifetimes of individual ground state levels, applicable to two-level laser models, are determined from the multilevel model. The effective lifetime of the primary lower laser levelupsilon" = 3is determined to be 4-6 ns for a 1 atm He buffer.  相似文献

The Jakes fading model for antenna arrays incorporating azimuth spread   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
A new method for simulating the multiplicative fading of the narrow-band, flat wireless channel for antenna array receivers is presented. The new approach produces a set of fading waveforms, one waveform associated with each receiver element, in which the waveforms are appropriately correlated to take into account the spread, or dispersion, in the azimuth (arrival angle) of the received signal. The new method is an extension of the Jakes (1974) method of simulating fading in which the appropriate correlation of the set of waveforms is accomplished by directly considering the azimuth of scatterers in a particular distribution about the mobile transmitter. The models used for this cluster of scatterers are a ring and a disk of scatterers. Further modifications of the disk model permit the generation of fading waveforms which are correlated in a manner which reflect actual field measurements of azimuth dispersion. Analytical correlation of these models is reviewed for purposes of verification with the waveforms generated by the method.  相似文献

A novel X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS) technique combined with principal component analysis of spectra-to-image datasets was employed to study the effects of atomization air pressure used during the coating process on film–tablet interfacial thickness. Placebo tablet cores were prepared and coated with Eudragit® RL 30 D. Atomization air pressure was varied from 10 to 20 psi, whereas all other processing parameters were held constant. Higher air pressures generally produced thinner interfaces, although the interfacial region was not uniform across the tablet surface and was dependent on the sampling location. These results demonstrate the suitability of this XPS technique to study the coating–tablet interface. Moreover, the variability in the interfacial thickness illustrates the need to further study such systems.  相似文献

The cell surface protein tyrosine phosphatase CD45 is a major target of IgM anti-T cell autoantibodies in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The autoreactive determinants on CD45 are O-linked glycans expressed on activated T cells and certain T cell lines, rather than linear or conformational polypeptide epitopes or N-linked glycans. To identify oligosaccharide structures that may play a role in the functional interactions of CD45 or are candidate target epitopes of SLE anti-CD45 autoantibodies, autoreactive CD45 purified from Jurkat T cells and non-autoreactive CD45 purified from CLL B cells were tested by ELISA for expression of mucin-type O-glycan structures. Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) directed against blood group A, type 1 H chains, type 2 H chains, T, Le(a), sialylated-Le(a), Le(b), sialylated-Le(c), Le(x), sialylated-Le(x), multi-fucosylated Le(x), Le(y), and sialylated-extended Le(v) failed to react with CD45 from either B cells or T cells. However, mAbs directed against Tn (galNAcalpha1-->O-ser/thr) or sialosyl-Tn (neuNAcalpha2-6gaINAcalpha1-->O-ser/thr) structures reacted with CD45 derived from Jurkat T cells, but not from CLL B cells. Anti-Tn mAbs also reacted in western blotting procedures with CD45 isolated from Jurkat T cells, but did not react with CD45 isolated from CEM, MOLT-3, or PEER T cells; Daudi, Raji, or CLL B cells; or resting or Con A-activated PBL. However, anti-sialosyl-Tn mAbs stained blots of CD45 isolated from Jurkat and CEM T cells and Con A-activated PBL, a pattern of reactivity similar to that of the anti-CD45 autoantibodies. Flow cytometric analyses demonstrated that the sialosyl-Tn epitopes are expressed on a subpopulation of CD4 +/CD8- T cells.  相似文献
