Usage of Internet has increased enormously in this decade due to the pandemic began due to COVID19. Data in the form of Text, Image and Video are communicated across the world through mails, chat applications and meeting applications etc. Such third-party applications are vulnerable while sensitive information such as personal, financial, medical and military communications occurs. Visual Cryptography (VC) is an encryption scheme that protects data in the form of image. In source, VC encrypts the image by dividing into shares and distributes to the receiver side. At the destination, the shares are stacked together physically or digitally to reveal the original data. VC also uses cover images to enhance security. VC supports secret sharing of multiple images. In this research paper, a new Multiple grayscale Secret Image Sharing (MSIS) strategy is proposed for secure transmission of more than one grayscale secret image data to the destination. MSIS uses color cover images to enhance the security. It also minimizes the number of shares and cover images to reduce the complexity.

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)-supported nickel catalysts with different metal-loading contents were synthesized trough deposition–precipitation (DP) method for its subsequent performance study on steam reforming reaction of propane. The metal-loading content was set at 5, 10, 20, and 25% of nickel. Results showed that 20 wt% nickel oxide over MWCNTs (20% NiO/MWCNTs) had the best performance, on the propane steam reforming reaction, in terms of H2 conversion comparing with the rest of the NiO/MWCNTs catalysts (5, 10, 25 wt% Ni) and a nickel over alumina (Ni/Al2O3) commercial catalyst. The features of the NiO/MWCNTs catalysts were studied trough FT-IR, Raman spectroscopy, N2 adsorption–desorption isotherms, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and field emission scanning electron microscopy measurements. The results evidenced that optimum relation between Ni content, Ni dispersion, and particle size played a main role in the catalyst performance, rendering the 20% NiO/MWCNT as the most promising, among the catalysts studied, for the steam reforming of propane.  相似文献

By applying the curve‐type thin film transistor (TFT) with longitudinal strain, TFT parameters do change little down to the 2R bending. The mobility variation range reduces down to 4% compared with 28% of the line‐type channel with transverse strain. The smaller variation is preferred for a high quality display. We clarified that majority carrier's effective mass and scattering rate are dominant factors influencing the bended TFT's performance, which can be controlled by the strain orientation and channel shape. This understanding and improvement was embedded in the 5.8″ flexible QHD active matrix organic light emitting diode panel with multi edge curvature of Galaxy S8. Through this achievement, we made our flexible premium active matrix organic light emitting diode panels more performable, reliable, and highly productive in small R bending circumstance.  相似文献

When planning river hydraulic structures, the analysis of the hydrodynamic and bed elevation change is of great importance, particularly the assessment of the scour depth around a cofferdam. In this study, the flow field variation and the corresponding scour depth was simulated using two-dimensional hydrodynamic analysis and a bed-load transport model. The hydrodynamic model used the streamlined upwind Petrov–Galerkin (SUPG) finite element scheme to solve the Reynolds-averaged turbulent flow equations. Based on the results of flow field analysis, the bed-load transport model was able to simulate the scour hole development, where it was shown that velocity gradients dramatically increase due to the existence of hydraulic structures. The applicability of the model was tested by simulating the velocity field and bed elevation changes around the cofferdam constructed during the Lock and Dam No. 26 replacement project in the Mississippi River. The model created in this study is able to estimate the maximum scour depth, determine the configuration of the cofferdam to suggest changes to reduce any local scour, and suggest if protection materials around the cofferdam are needed.  相似文献

This paper presents a handheld surgical tool adapting a tactile feedback system. The tool consists of a 3-degree-of-freedom (DOF) force sensor and three tactile displays. The sensor is easily embedded in the tool by adopting the capacitive transduction principle. The sensor measures the direction and magnitude of the 3-DOF force applied to the tool tip. The fingertip grasping the tool is stimulated by the tactile display to transmit the contact force information measured by the sensor. The tactile display is actuated by employing a soft actuator technology based on a dielectric elastomer actuator such as a type of electroactive polymer actuator. In this work, a prototype of the tool is designed and fabricated. Its performance is experimentally validated.  相似文献

As the use of in-vehicle technologies became more popular, there is concern about a concomitant increase in driver distraction arising from their use. While the introduction of voice recognition systems is intended to reduce the distraction due to manual operation of these units, a significant proportion of the distraction associated with their use may arise not from the manual manipulation but rather the cognitive consequences. It is also known that the risk of inattentive driving varies with age. In this study, the impact of cognitive workload and traffic environments on older drivers’ behavior was investigated in a driving simulator. To assess the impact of advancing age on driving performance degradation under a dual task condition, the performance of 63 drivers, divided into younger (20–29) and older (60–69) age groups, was evaluated. The authors also considered driving behavioral differences in the context of urban and highway driving, appropriately counterbalanced. At a specified location in the two scenarios, subjects were asked to complete a series of auditory tasks of increasing complexity. Comparisons of younger and older drivers’ driving performance, including forward velocity, speed control, standard deviation of lane position and steering wheel reversal rate, were conducted. Results indicated that age and traffic environment impact both driving performance and compensatory behavior during dual task conditions.  相似文献

In light of increasing interest in the development of double gate (DG) CMOS technology that extends the device scaling limit, the relative merit of symmetric versus asymmetry DG-MOSFETs is studied using the quantum corrected Monte Carlo (MC) method. A recently developed Bohm-based quantum correction model is applied to the MC simulation of DG-MOSFETs. The drain current is first studied as the thickness of the silicon layer is scaled. Then results of the charge density and potential for asymmetric and symmetric devices under the same bias conditions are compared. Also analyzed is how the drain induced barrier lowering is affected by the channel length.  相似文献
