A trial was carried out on seven Massese ewes, from which individual milk samples were taken during lactation. All the enzyme activities investigated (oxidase activity of xanthine oxidoreductase, gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase, alkaline phosphatase and 5′-nucleotidase) were affected by the lactation phase, with the exception of the dehydrogenase activity of xanthine oxidoreductase (XOR). A higher oxidase activity (XO) of XOR was found when the diameter of milk fat globules was smaller. In addition, the absence of XO in colostrum led to the hypothesis that its antibacterial role is independent of its activity. The increase in alkaline phosphatase activity during lactation requires further research to better define the criteria for pasteurised sheep milk.  相似文献

Despite the record power conversion efficiencies, inverted perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are still looking to overcome the challenge of moisture instability. This is mitigated by introducing 2D perovskite at the base of a 3D perovskite via coating of ethylenediamine bications on top of the hole transport layer of p–i–n planar configured devices. The cations induce thin 2D perovskite growth beneath the 3D perovskite to create a 2D/3D hybrid active layer. This 2D layer in turn acts as a template for the growth of relatively large grains compared to that of pure 3D perovskite films. This stems from the merging of grain boundaries. The hydrophobicity of the 2D/3D perovskite film consequently improves, as evidenced by a large contact angle of 93.1°, compared to 68.9° for the 3D perovskite film. Because there are fewer defects sourced from grain boundaries, the air‐processed 2D/3D perovskite devices yield a high power conversion efficiency of 15.02%, compared to 13.10% from 3D perovskite devices. When stored in moderately humid environment of 55% relative humidity, the 2D/3D devices exhibit longer stabilities, with 75% of their power conversion efficiencies maintained after 150 h, compared to a total loss in efficiency for 3D device in the same time frame.  相似文献

The aim of this preliminary study was to improve the knowledge about milk fat globules by studying the relationships between the morphometric characteristics of fat globules, the fatty acid composition and the activity of membrane enzymes evaluated in 14 milk samples from Massese ewes: xanthine oxidase (XO), xanthine dehydrogenase (XDH), γ-glutamyl transpeptidase (γ-GT), alkaline phosphatase (AP) and 5′-nucleotidase (5′-N). A negative correlation was found between the activity of XO and XDH and fat globule size, and a positive correlation between AP activity, the number of globule per mL and medium fat globules (2–5 μm). A significant relationship was found between the enzymatic activity of γ-GT, XO, XDH, 5′-N and various fatty acids in milk.  相似文献

A 71-year-old woman with loss of appetite was referred to our hospital. Imaging diagnosis revealed a large, cystically dilated left kidney with a solid tumor inside the cavity and right hydronephrosis. A chest X-ray revealed multiple metastatic lesions. A horseshoe kidney was found intraoperatively and left nephroureterectomy with partial cystectomy was performed. Histological diagnosis was poorly differentiated transitional cell carcinoma. She died of progressive pulmonary metastases 2 weeks after operation. This is the 19th case of a renal pelvic tumor associated with a horseshoe kidney reported in the Japanese literature. The diagnosis was confounded by the extreme dilation and deformity of the hydronephrotic kidney.  相似文献

Cytosolic 5′-nucleotidase II (cN-II) is an allosteric catabolic enzyme that hydrolyzes IMP, GMP, and AMP. The enzyme can assume at least two different structures, being the more active conformation stabilized by ATP and the less active by inorganic phosphate. Therefore, the variation in ATP concentration can control both structure and activity of cN-II. In this paper, using a capillary electrophoresis technique, we demonstrated that a partial silencing of cN-II in a pulmonary carcinoma cell line (NCI-H292) is accompanied by a decrease in adenylate pool, without affecting the energy charge. We also found that cN-II silencing decreased proliferation and increased oxidative metabolism, as indicated by the decreased production of lactate. These effects, as demonstrated by Western blotting, appear to be mediated by both p53 and AMP-activated protein kinase, as most of them are prevented by pifithrin-α, a known p53 inhibitor. These results are in line with our previous observations of a shift towards a more oxidative and less proliferative phenotype of tumoral cells with a low expression of cN-II, thus supporting the search for specific inhibitors of this enzyme as a therapeutic tool for the treatment of tumors.  相似文献
