巴基葱及其电学特性研究

利用直流弧光放电法制备了巴基葱,高分辨透射电子显微镜分析表明这种巴基葱为空心椭球形,由11层富勒烯组成。利用超高真空原子力显微镜和扫描隧道显微镜研究了巴基葱在高定向石墨基底上的行为和电学特性。巴基葱的扫描隧道谱结果表明,巴基葱的电学特性介于石墨和单层富勒烯之间。

Si(111)表面亚稳态重构的STM研究

利用扫描隧道显微镜 (STM) ,研究了Si(111)表面的 2× 2、c2× 4、9× 9和 11× 11等各种亚稳态结构。与已经发表的研究结果相比 :2× 2和c2× 4重构区域规则且面积更大 ,原子分辨的图像清晰稳定 ;在不同亚稳态之间的畴界处 ,发现存在2种不同的环形结构。从原子密度和能量两方面 ,对各种亚稳态重构的形成机制进行了讨论

One-dimensional chains of gold clusters on the surface of highly oriented pyrolytic graphite

We have investigated the growth of gold nanoclusters on the surface of highly oriented py-rolytic graphite in uitrahigh vacuum. Studies of ultrahigh vacuum scanning tunneling microscopy revealed that the size distribution of gold clusters was very narrow and quasi-one-dimensional chains of gold nanoclusters of approximately 2 nm diameter were produced after being annealed at 74℃. Unlike the results obtained by previous workers, these chains of gold clusters were not formed along steps on the substrate surface, and some of them could even go across monoatomic steps. The orientation of chains of gold clusters was also dependent on the size of gold nanoclusters. These results suggest the viability of a new route to the creation of ordered nanoscale structures.
