The radiation‐resistant response of BaTiO3 in the tetragonal and rhombohedral phases on exposure to 100 MeV Ag7+ ion irradiation was investigated by in situ X‐ray diffraction (XRD) at room temperature (300 K) and low temperature (25 K), respectively. This study revealed that the BaTiO3 in rhombohedral phase retained crystallinity up to an ion fluence of 1×1014 ions/cm2, whereas tetragonal phase amorphized at much lower fluence viz. 1×1013 ions/cm2. The in situ XRD along with Raman spectroscopy studies revealed that BaTiO3 in rhombohedral phase is more radiation resistant than that of tetragonal phase. The density functional theory (DFT) calculations confirmed higher bond strength of rhombohedral phase as compared to tetragonal phase, which supported the experimental result of higher radiation stability of rhombohedral phase. The theoretical predictions on high‐temperature phase will be of relevance to the nuclear waste applications.  相似文献

The inhibitory effects of clove, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric and pepper on the histamine production and histidine decarboxylase activity ofMorganella morganii (a potent histamine-producing bacteria in fish) was examined at 30°C using HPLC. Cinnamon and clove exhibited a significant (P<0.01) inhibitory effect, whereas turmeric and cardamom had a moderate effect. These spices were applied to whole mackerel at a level of 3% and their inhibitory effect on biogenic amine formation at 30°C was also examined. As in the in vitro study, clove and cinnamon showed a significant (P< 0.05) inhibitory effect on histamine, putrescine and tyramine formation but not on that of cadaverine. Cardamom and turmeric exhibited a moderate effect and pepper was ineffective. Therefore, clove and cinnamon are more helpful than cardamom and turmeric in the minimization of the formation of toxic histamine in mackerel.  相似文献

Orthorhombic InVO4 was prepared by solid‐state reaction method and characterized by powder X‐ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The frequency‐dependent dielectric and conductivity properties were studied from 300 to 973 K by impedance spectroscopy. A significantly enhanced conductivity was observed at higher temperature whereas almost no conduction was observed below 723 K. Appreciable grain boundary conductivity was observed at higher temperature. The activation energies for grain and grain boundary conductivities are 0.87 and 1.28 eV, respectively. The relative permittivity of ~35 was observed in a wider range of frequencies and temperatures. The frequency dispersion dielectric studies indicated thermally activated hopping conduction process. The high temperature structural studies revealed no significant change in structural parameters except a gradual increasing trend in the unit cell parameters and amplitude of isotropic thermal parameters with increasing temperature.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of monitoring vehicle data streams in a resource-constrained environment. It particularly focuses on a monitoring task that requires frequent computation of correlation matrices using lightweight on-board computing devices. It motivates this problem in the context of the MineFleet Real-Time system and offers a randomized algorithm for fast monitoring of correlation (FMC), inner product, and Euclidean distance matrices among others. Unlike the existing approaches that compute all the entries of these matrices from a data set, the proposed technique works using a divide-and-conquer approach. This paper presents a probabilistic test for quickly detecting whether or not a subset of coefficients contains a significant one with a magnitude greater than a user given threshold. This test is used for quickly identifying the portions of the space that contain significant coefficients. The proposed algorithm is particularly suitable for monitoring correlation and related matrices computed from continuous data streams.  相似文献

A compatibility of energetic compound with polymeric matrices is of prime importance in the pre-formulation stage for developing of new energetic composite formulations. In the present work, the compatibility of octahydro-l,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine (HMX) with polyether (PET) polyol (trade name SP-755)-based polyurethanes (PUs) containing different curatives such as 4,4?methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), 2,2,4-trimethylhexamethylene diisocyanate (TMDI), and toluene diisocyanate (TDI) has been studied by using a differential scanning calorimetry method. The PET-based PUs were prepared by polymerization between PET polyol and different curatives, then these PUs were further mixed with HMX to study the compatibility and kinetic parameters. Results show that the compatibility and thermal stability are significantly influenced by the different curatives, and suggested thermals stability by thermal data follow the order for a mixture of HMX/SP-755/MDI > HMX/SP-755/TDI > HMX/SP-755/IPDI > HMX/SP-755/TMDI. The thermal degradation kinetics has also been investigated through non-isothermal conditions using the Kissinger and the isoconversional ASTM E689 kinetic methods. The finding shows that there was a significant variation in the apparent activation energy for a mixture of HMX/SP-755/MDI, HMX/SP-755/IPDI, HMX/SP-755/TMDI, and HMX/SP-755/TDI, which were 365.8, 257.7, 134.9, and 241.1 kJ mol?1, respectively. The apparent activation energies obtained from the Kissinger method at maximum peak temperature are in reasonable agreement and consistent with isoconversional ASTM E689 kinetic method.  相似文献

Summary Deep fat frying of foods with different moisture levels in different metallic containers imparts various aromas. The effect of metals, viz. iron and copper, in trace amounts (10 ppm) in biacetyl/-amino acid model systems heated at 180 °C and 0–80% moisture levels on the formation of heterocyclic nitrogen compounds was studied. Biacetyl-glycine systems gave 2-methylpyridine and three pyrazines,dl-alanine formed three pyrazines and isoleucine formed two pyrazines. The catalytic effect of copper was greater compared with that of iron. The effect of metallic ions was very much enhanced in low-moisture systems, particularly in the formation of tetramethylpyrazine.
Einfluß von Eisen- und Kupferionen auf die Bildung von heterocyclischen Stickstoffverbindungen in Modellsystemen von Diacetyl/-Aminosäuren
Zusammenfassung Hocherhitzen von Fett in Lebensmitteln mit verschiedenen Wassergehalten in verschiedenen Metallbehältern führt zu unterschiedlichen Aromen. Der Einfluß der Metalle, Eisen gegenüber Kupfer in Spuren (10 ppm) in Modellsystemen mit Diacetyl/-Aminosäure auf 180 °C erhitzt und bei Wassergehalten zwischen 0 und 80%, wurde auf die Entwicklung von heterocyclischen Stickstoffverbindungen studiert. Diacetyl/Glycin-Systeme ergaben 2-Methylpyridin und 3 Pyrazine, ausdl-Alanin bildeten sich 3 Pyrazine und aus Isoleucin 2 Pyrazine. Der katalytische Einfluß der Metallionen war bei niederen Feuchtigkeitsgehalten sehr viel stärker, besonders in der Bildung von Tetramethylpyrazin.
