This work describes the synthesis of terpolymers of aniline, diphenylamine, and o‐anthranilic acid (PANIDPAA) by 1 : 1 : 1 molar ratio of the respective monomers doped by different concentration of copper ions via in situ chemical terpolymerization. The results are justified by measuring spectral characteristics namely, UV‐vis absorption spectra, FTIR, and TGA. Calcining these PANIDPAA terpolymers doped by copper at temperatures in the range of 700°C led to the formation of CuO nanoparticles in the nanoscale by thermal decomposition in air directly. The stages of decompositions and the calcination temperature of the precursors have been determined from thermal analysis data sheet. The obtained CuO nanoparticles have been characterized by X‐ray diffraction and transmission electron microscope (TEM). TEM showed a particle size less than 40 nm. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Copolymers of aniline and o-anthranilic acid/amorphous fumed silica nanocomposite are synthesized by 5:1 molar ratios of the respective monomers with different percentages of silica nanoparticles via in situ chemical co-polymerization. The electrical conductivity and spectral characteristics upon incorporation of o-anthranilic acid units into the polyaniline backbone in presence of silica nanoparticles are investigated. The results are justified by measuring the UV-Vis absorption spectra, FT-IR for PANAA copolymer, and in situ PANAA/silica nanocomposite. Also, the thermal gravimetric analysis for the copolymer powder formed in the bulk in absence and in presence of silica nanoparticles are carried out.  相似文献

Complexes of La(Ⅲ),Nd(Ⅲ),Gd(Ⅲ),Sm(Ⅲ),and Ce(Ⅳ) were synthesized with Schiff base [(3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxybenzyl) amino] acetic acid(H 3 L).The ligand and its complexes were synthesized and characterized based on the following analysis:elemental analyses,FAB-mass,molar conductance measurements,magnetic measurement,UV-visible,IR,and NMR spectral studies.The spectral data revealed that the ligand acted as a neutral tridentate coordinating to metal ion through ONO donor sequence.Thermal degradation studies of the ligand and its complexes showed that the previous lanthanide complexes were more thermally stable than the ligand itself.The Schiff base and its complexes were screened for their antibacterial(Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus) and antifungal(Aspergillus flavus and Candida Albicans).  相似文献

Kaolinite clay (KC) surface was modified with different surface modifiers such as methacrylic acid (MAA), polymethacrylic acid (PMAA1, mol wt 10,000) and polymethacrylic acid (PMAA2, mol wt 11,500). The adsorption isotherms of the above modifiers on the surface of KC were determined. The concentrations required for building up monolayer coverage of these modifiers on the surface of KC were determined from the adsorption isotherms. The optimum amount of modifier required for monolayer surface coverage on kaolinite was equal to 31 × 10?5 mol/g for MAA, 35 × 10?5 mol/gfor PMAA and 23.5 × 10?5 mol/g for PMA. Different rubber mixes containing unmodified and modified KC were prepared. The rheometric characteristics of the rubber mixes and physico-mechanical properties of the rubber vulcanizates were measured. There was remarkable decrease in both the optimum cure time (tc90) and scorch time (ts2), following increase in the maximum torque of the SBR mixes by adding unmodified or modified KC. With the maximum torque increase, the values of both of the optimum cure time (tc90) and scorch time (ts2) decreases for the NR mixes by adding unmodified and modified KC. Also the mechanical properties of the investigated rubber vulcanizates as tensile strength and hardness were improved using unmodified KC and modified KC.  相似文献

Three-layer thicknesses (\({T}_{1 }= 50\), \({T}_{2 }= 75\) and \({T}_{3 }= 100\) nm) of 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethyl tungsten tetracarbonyl methyl red (DPE-W-MR) were deposited onto the CuO thin film (50 nm) to produce DPE-W-MR/CuO di-layer thin films by sol–gel spin-coating technique. The composition and the chemical structure of the as-prepared thin films were characterized using various techniques including elemental analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, \(^{1}\hbox {H}\)-NMR and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Scanning electron microscopy was used to investigate the size and shape of the CuO nanoparticles and the fabricated thin films. The films are crystalline as evidenced by the XRD pattern and DPE-W-MR has an orthorhombic crystal system. The crystallite size was calculated from an analysis of the line broadening features using the Scherrer formula; the average crystallite sizes of DPE-W-MR/CuO di-layer thin films are 52.92, 56.24 and 72.26 nm for \({T}_{1}\), \({T}_{2}\) and \({T}_{3}\), respectively. Thermogravimetric analysis and the thermal curve of DPE-W-MR complex were studied. Optical properties of DPE-W-MR/CuO di-layer thin films are discussed. The optical band gap energies of DPE-W-MR di-layer thin films/CuO decreased (2.25, 2.1 and 1.88 eV) as the film thickness increased (from \({T}_{1}\) to \({T}_{3})\). Based on the optical results and the quantum confinement effects, the DPE-W-MR/CuO di-layer thin films may be candidates as semiconductor materials for optoelectronic devices.  相似文献

Poly(o-toluidine?·?2HCl) and its doped polymers with Mn and Cr ions have been synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, UV–Vis. and thermogravimetrical analyses. Potassium dichromate has been used as an initiator and a dopant of chromium in CrPOT preparation. The effect of doping on thermal and optical properties of Poly(o-toluidine dihydrochloride) has been discussed.

CrPOT has been used as a precursor of Cr2O3 nanoparticles through thermal decomposition rout. The obtained nanoparticles have been characterized by X-ray diffraction and high resolution transmission electron microscope. The results indicated that Cr2O3 exists in hexagonal structure as mesoporous Eskolit with average particle size of 48?nm. Optical band gap measurements indicated that Eskolite nanoparticles have wider band gap than the bulk.  相似文献
