The dependence ot the in-plane drive field at which bubble domains spontaneously nucleate in field-accessed bubble devices has been investigated as a function ofH_{k} - 4piM_{s}and of spacer thickness between the bubble film and permalloy propagation elements. The experiments were carried out on amorphous GdCoMo bubble films with T-bar and Y-bar structures. For a given structure and spacer thickness the nucleation field increases linearly withH_{k} - 4piM. Larger spacer thicknesses also lead to increased nucleation fields. A model based on the Stoner-Wohlfarth astroid is compared to these data and found to be useful in explaining the qualitative trends, but to be in poor quantitative agreement. It is concluded that since the drive field required in a device is proportional to4piM_{s}, Q - 1 = (H_{k} - 4piM_{s})/4piM_{s}must be greater than some minimum value for a given device structure and spacer thickness to permit reliable device operation.  相似文献

We present a comparison of data obtained during testing of lightning protective system of a residential structure in rocket-triggered lightning experiment at the International Center for Lightning Research and Testing(ICLRT)at Camp Blanding,Florida,and current surge generator experiment at Rzeszow University of Technology in Poland.Three different configurations of LPS were tested in Poland with the dc grounding resistances of the entire system 4.09 Ω(LPS 1a),1.65 Ω(LPS 1b),and 2.88 Ω(LPS 2).For LPS 1a with three ground rods the value of the peak current entering the electrical circuit neutral was about 56% of the injected current peak,and for LPS 1b with two additional ground rods and two 5 m long buried horizontal conductors it was about 16%.For LPS 2 with five ground rods interconnected by a buried loop conductor this ratio was 21%.The current waveshapes in the ground rods differed from the injected current waveshapes and the current waveshapes in other parts of the test system,especially,for poorer-grounding LPS 1a.The surge-generator results are consistent with those of triggered-lightning experiments at Camp Blanding,Florida(DeCarlo et al.,2008 [2]).  相似文献

Frequency-dependent transmission line parameters are analysed using Poynting's theorem. Using the general formulation of impedance and admittance matrices and solution for electromagnetic field vectors, wave propagation characteristics of the transmission line are obtained. The method is particularly useful for power cables, in which electromagnetic effects such as the proximity effect and electromagnetic shielding are strong. Calculations of underground eccentric cable characteristics illustrate the method. New formulae for inductances and conductor internal impedances are derived and new results for the propagation constant are given.  相似文献

The AP600 is a simplified advanced pressurized water reactor (PWR) design incorporating passive safety systems that perform the same function as the active emergency core cooling systems (ECCSs) on the current reactors. In order to verify the effectiveness of the AP600 design features for mitigation of a postulated large-break loss-of-coolant accident (LOCA), the recently United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC)-approved best-estimate LOCA methodology (BELOCA) was applied to perform the AP600 standard safety analysis report large-break LOCA analysis. The applicability of the COBRA/TRAC code to model the AP600 unique features was validated against cylindrical core test facility (CCTF) and upper plenum test facility (UPTF) downcomer injection tests, the blowdown and reflood cooling heat transfer uncertainties were re-assessed for the AP600 large-break LOCA conditions and a conservative minimum film boiling temperature was applied as a bounded parameter for blowdown cooling. The BELOCA methodology was simplified to quantify the code uncertainties due to local and global models, as well as the statistical approximation methods, with the other uncertainties being bounded by limiting assumptions on the initial and boundary conditions. The final 95th percentile peak cladding temperature (PCT95%) was 1186 K, which meets the 10CFR50.46 criteria with a considerable margin. It is therefore concluded that the AP600 design is effective in mitigation of a postulated large-break LOCA.  相似文献

A low temperature process for converting hematite (α-Fe2O3) thin films into magnetite (Fe3O4is described. The films produced are unambiguously identified as magnetite by several complementary methods of analysis. The effect of Ni/Cu substitution on the magnetic properties, crystal and electronic structure of the polycrystalline GdNi5−xCux series has been studied. All compounds crystallize in the hexagonal CaCu5 type of crystal structure (space group P6/mmm). The temperature dependence of magnetic phase transition (Tmag) estimated from χAC(T) susceptibility as well as magnetization M(T) below room temperature indicates the maximum for x = 1.0 copper concentration. In the paramagnetic range (above 300 K) the magnetic susceptibilities follow a Curie-Weiss-type dependence. The effective magnetic moments are higher than theoretical value for free Gd3+.From X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) data the valence band as well as the core level spectra have been analyzed. The filling of Ni3d band in the GdNi5−xCux system by charge transfer of Gd conduction electrons is revealed by a reduction of the satellite intensities in the Ni2p core level spectrum. The obtained results exhibit that the valence bands at the Fermi level are dominated by hybridized Ni3d and Gd5d states, when Cu3d states are rather localized about 3 eV below the Fermi level. Quite good relation between the magnetic properties and electronic structure has been found.  相似文献

This paper presents a method for determining specific models of overhead power lines with presence of corona phenomenon. The obtained models provide stable numerical solutions for computer simulation of transients caused by direct lightning strikes. The corona non- linear charge-voltage characteristics obtained from experimental tests are used for identification of the corona parameters based on System Identification Toolbox implemented in Matlab package. Different transfer functions, which give the same waveshapes of overvoltages are de- termined using two parametric models. A circuit representation of the obtained transfer functions is proposed and the corona model is implemented in the EMTP-RV as a hierarchical structure composed of a overhead power line divided into sections with corona branches. Some computer simulations of lightning overvoltages propagated in a typical 220 kV power line due to direct lightning strikes to a line tower are presented. The proposed method and the model implemented in EMTP-RV are still valid for multi-conductor lines and for higher voltages of power lines but new corona nonlinear charge-voltage characteristics are required as an input parameter for the identification procedure.  相似文献
