IXX (or PIXE-induced XRF) technique gains two main advantages over conventional PIXE method. First, it can be used to avoid or significantly reduce background and spectral interferences from major elements in the sample by proper selecting the primary target. Second, target damage is greatly reduced, so that it is more suitable for the analysis of heatsensitive and delicate specimens. A new IXX system with a very tight geometry is described. Some of its performances and preliminary applications are presented.  相似文献

The study of paper damage under bombardments of protons and X-rays is reported.An on-demand beam pulsing system is useful for the PIXE analysis of delicate objects.IXX(or PIXE-induced XRF)is more suitable than PIXE in terms of damage to the sample.Some new PIXE and IXX applications of archaeological paper-like samples in recent years are given.  相似文献

An external proton beam system with a detection sensitivity of 10 g for ruthenium was used to study DNA. A metal- organic compound tris (4,7- diphenylphenanthroline) ruthenium (Ⅱ) [Ru(DiP)32-] was chosen as a metal marker. The target DNA labeled with Ru (DiP)32- was electrophoresed in an agarose gel and then was analysed by PIXE. The DNA sample with the metal marker showed clearly Ru peaks in the PIXE spectra, while the control showed no Ru peak at all. This method can be used to study biology at the DNA level.  相似文献

对按需束系统作了三个方面的改进:引入一个快速抗堆积通道,使脉冲堆积间隔减小到90ns;采用RBS方法监测外束束流;并用散射的方法扩大靶上的束点。经过改进的按需束系统已成功用于古画分析,报道了初步的分析结果。  相似文献

利用质子微探针和微束PIXE定量分析技术对山东梭罗树地慢橄榄岩中橄榄石、斜方辉石、单斜辉石、尖晶石和石榴石等矿物的微量元素组成与分布进行了研究。结果表明,不相容元素(Sr、Y、Zr)主要富集于单斜辉石内,尖晶石则几乎富集质子探针所能检出的所有微量元素,而石榴石中微量元素含量最少。该研究表明,在矿物微区微量元素分布是十分不均匀的,推测可能受地幔交代过程中溶液的渗滤效应以及存在微粒包裹体的共同制约。  相似文献
