GETA (Groupe d'études pour la traduction automatique) is a research team working basically in the domain of machine translation. GETA's software system, ARIANE-78, has been tested over various pairs of relatively unrelated languages. Being a product of the late seventies, the system misses out on some of the artificial intelligence technology, particularly that of the eighties. Nevertheless, GETA carries out some research related to artificial intelligence within a general effort to bring improvements to the current system. This paper reports on an effort to embed such work within the framework of an entirely new system based on ideas from expert systems, significantly departing from the methodology of the current system (and that of other currently implemented machine translation systems). The proposed architecture aims for total modularity and flexibility and some degree of intelligence. 相似文献

The effects of scraped-surface tube cooler temperatures on the isothermal solid fat content (SFC) of palm oil margarine during
processing and on margarine consistency (yield value, g/cm2), SFC, and polymorphic changes in storage were studied. SFC was measured in the mixing tank after leaving the tube cooler
and the pin worker. The SFC at the tube cooler exit was proportional to the amount of cooling; a higher SFC was produced by
more extreme cooling treatment. The SFC of all margarines were reduced in the pin worker, and the reduction was related to
the initial SFC profile of palm oil. Margarine samples were stored at 28°C for 28 d and tested daily. Margarine processed
at 25°C in the tube cooler had the highest consistency and the least change in SFC, but by the second week crystals had transformed
into the β form. Uniform product consistency and SFC were observed in margarines processed at 20 and 15°C. These margarines
retained the β′ crystal form for 3 and 4 wk, respectively. The best palm oil margarine was obtained with a tube cooler temperature

High-performance polymers are an important class of materials that are used in challenging conditions, such as in aerospace applications. Until now, 3D printing based on stereolithography processes can not be performed due to a lack of suitable materials. There is report on new materials and printing compositions that enable 3D printing of objects having extremely high thermal resistance, with Tg of 283 °C and excellent mechanical properties. The printing is performed by a low-cost Digital Light Processing printer, and the formulation is based on a dual-cure mechanism, photo, and thermal process. The main components are a molecule that has both epoxy and acrylate groups, alkylated melamine that enables a high degree of crosslinking, and a soluble precursor of silica. The resulting objects are made of hybrid materials, in which the silicon is present in the polymeric backbone and partly as silica enforcement particles. 相似文献

In this study, larvicidal activity of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) synthesised using apple extract against fourth instar larvae of Aedes aegypti was determined. As a result, the AgNPs showed moderate larvicidal effects against Ae. aegypti larvae (LC50 = 15.76 ppm and LC90 = 27.7 ppm). In addition, comparison of larvicidal activity performance of AgNPs at high concentration prepared using two different methods showed that Ae. aegypti larvae was fully eliminated within the duration of 2.5 h. From X‐ray diffraction, the AgNP crystallites were found to exhibit face centred cubic structure. The average size of these AgNPs as estimated by particle size distribution was in the range of 50–120 nm. The absorption maxima of the synthesised Ag showed characteristic Ag surface plasmon resonance peak. With the increasing and rapid growth rate of COVID-19 cases, the healthcare scheme of several developed countries have reached the point of collapse. An important and critical steps in fighting against COVID-19 is powerful screening of diseased patients, in such a way that positive patient can be treated and isolated. A chest radiology image-based diagnosis scheme might have several benefits over traditional approach. The accomplishment of artificial intelligence (AI) based techniques in automated diagnoses in the healthcare sector and rapid increase in COVID-19 cases have demanded the requirement of AI based automated diagnosis and recognition systems. This study develops an Intelligent Firefly Algorithm Deep Transfer Learning Based COVID-19 Monitoring System (IFFA-DTLMS). The proposed IFFA-DTLMS model majorly aims at identifying and categorizing the occurrence of COVID19 on chest radiographs. To attain this, the presented IFFA-DTLMS model primarily applies densely connected networks (DenseNet121) model to generate a collection of feature vectors. In addition, the firefly algorithm (FFA) is applied for the hyper parameter optimization of DenseNet121 model. Moreover, autoencoder-long short term memory (AE-LSTM) model is exploited for the classification and identification of COVID19. For ensuring the enhanced performance of the IFFA-DTLMS model, a wide-ranging experiments were performed and the results are reviewed under distinctive aspects. We demonstrate that there is a new solution-processed electron transport layer, lithium-doped zinc oxide (LZO), with high-performance inverted organic photovoltaic device. The device exhibits a fill factor of 68.58%, an open circuit voltage of 0.86 V, a short-circuit current density of −9.35 cm/mA2 along with 5.49% power conversion efficiency. In addition, we studied the performance of blend ratio dependence on inverted organic photovoltaics. Our device also demonstrates a long stability shelf life over 4 weeks in air. 相似文献

Estimation of total water balance is a substantial issue for watershed modelling in order to simulate the major components of the hydrological cycle to determine the stress of different anthropogenic activities on the available water resources within a catchment. In this context, the fully distributed physically based MIKE SHE modelling system was used to simulate the individual hydrological components of the total water balance for the Paya Indah Wetlands (PIW) watershed in the west of Peninsular Malaysia. Results reveal that the overall water balance is predominantly controlled by climate variables. Application of the model to the PIW watershed provides detailed estimation of the total water balance for a first‐order catchment in which actual evapotranspiration (ET) represents approximately 65 and 58%, while overland flow (OL) to the PIW lake system represents 12.38 and 12.3% of the total rainfall during the calibration and validation periods, respectively. The difference of the inflow and outflow was taken as storage in depth. Overall, the model gives a reasonable output of total error of less than 1% of the total rainfall, which in turn indicates that the interaction among components is satisfactorily sustained. 相似文献

This study is designed to empirically test a model of high-involvement human resource management (HIHRM), organisational trust, and technology adaptation grounded on social exchange theory in the context of the private banking sector. The proposed model intends to add to the understanding of the effect of HIHRM on technology adaptation via the mediating influence of organisational trust. Frontline employees were surveyed using a self-administered questionnaire. Results from partial least square-structural equation modelling suggest that there is a significant influence of HIHRM on technology adaptation. Organisational trust further mediates the relationship. Thus, this paper finds an answer to the ‘black box’ of human resource management (HRM) practices, explaining how HIHRM influences employees’ attitudes towards technology adaptation. The study can help management have a better understanding of the importance of employee involvement-oriented HRM in introducing and implementing a new technology through the integration of trust processes in the organisation. 相似文献

The modification of liquid natural rubber (LNR) has attracted interests among chemists as it brings improvements to several of its properties and widens its application to various fields. LNR can be modified into fluorinated LNR (F-LNR) which is of interest to industries due to its remarkable properties, including low surface energies, high thermal stabilities, together with its significant hydrophobic characters. In this work, a new route to prepare fluorinated rubber was presented. Hydroxylated LNR (OH-LNR) was initially synthesized in good yield via oxidation in the presence of tungsten complex catalyst and acetic acid with hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant. The optimum hydroxyl content of 57.0% was obtained within 6 h reaction time at 90 °C. In the second step, the esterification of OH-LNR using pentadecafluorooctanoyl chloride (PDFOC) under mild conditions was conducted, leading to LNR bearing fluoro groups in the side chain of LNR (F-LNR). ATR-FTIR spectroscopy was used to elucidate the structure and determine any changes in the functional groups that may have been induced during the reaction. 1H NMR spectroscopy was employed to reveal that a high fluorine content of 48.6% was obtained using 3:1 molar ratio of OH-LNR:PDFOC for 8 h at 50 °C. The microstructure of F-LNR was further analyzed using 19F NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopies, and the results confirmed the presence of fluorine in LNR. Thermogravimetric analyses also indicated that the modification improved thermal stability of the LNR. Contact angle measurements were also conducted to verify the hydrophobicity of the fluorinated rubber and the results obtained showed that F-LNR exhibited higher hydrophobicity than LNR. 相似文献
