Decoupling the constitutive equations from the balance and constraint equations allows for reformulating a conventional forward problem into two reverse problems. The first reverse problem is the reverse of a simulation problem, where the process model is solved in terms of the constitutive (synthesis/design) variables instead of the process variables, thus providing the synthesis/design targets. The second reverse problem (reverse property prediction) solves the constitutive equations to identify unit operations, operating conditions and/or products by matching the synthesis/design targets. Visualization of the problem is achieved by employing recently developed property clustering techniques, which allows a high-dimensional problem to be visualized in two or three dimensions. The clusters by definition satisfy intra-stream and inter-stream conservation through linear “mixing” rules, which allows for the development of consistent additive rules along with their ternary representation.  相似文献

The Internet of Things (IoT) has gained more popularity in research because of its large-scale challenges and implementation. But security was the main concern when witnessing the fast development in its applications and size. It was a dreary task to independently set security systems in every IoT gadget and upgrade them according to the newer threats. Additionally, machine learning (ML) techniques optimally use a colossal volume of data generated by IoT devices. Deep Learning (DL) related systems were modelled for attack detection in IoT. But the current security systems address restricted attacks and can be utilized outdated datasets for evaluations. This study develops an Artificial Algae Optimization Algorithm with Optimal Deep Belief Network (AAA-ODBN) Enabled Ransomware Detection in an IoT environment. The presented AAA-ODBN technique mainly intends to recognize and categorize ransomware in the IoT environment. The presented AAA-ODBN technique follows a three-stage process: feature selection, classification, and parameter tuning. In the first stage, the AAA-ODBN technique uses AAA based feature selection (AAA-FS) technique to elect feature subsets. Secondly, the AAA-ODBN technique employs the DBN model for ransomware detection. At last, the dragonfly algorithm (DFA) is utilized for the hyperparameter tuning of the DBN technique. A sequence of simulations is implemented to demonstrate the improved performance of the AAA-ODBN algorithm. The experimental values indicate the significant outcome of the AAA-ODBN model over other models.  相似文献

This paper presents an approach for monitoring the execution progress of business processes. The monitoring focuses on the exceptions that could arise during this execution and, hence, could make the processes fail if not handled properly and timely. The approach relies on three flows known as control, communication, and navigation. The control flow connects tasks together with respect to a certain business logic. The communication flow captures the messages exchanged between persons/machines when they perform tasks of processes. Finally, the navigation flow captures the interactions between specialized networks that offer solutions to exceptions. These networks are built upon relations between tasks, between persons, and between machines. The coordination of control, communication, and navigation flows focuses on both the actions that are taken and the messages that are exchanged when handling exceptions. A system demonstrating flow development and coordination is, also, presented in the paper.  相似文献

Microbially Induced Carbonate Precipitation is proposed as an environmentally friendly method to protect decayed ornamental stone and introduced in the field of preservation of Cultural Heritage. Recent conservation studies performed under laboratory conditions on non-sterile calcarenite stones have successfully reported on the application of a suitable nutritional solution, inoculated and non-inoculated with Myxococcus xanthus, as a bioconsolidation treatment. Furthermore, this procedure has been applied in situ, very recently, to selected historical buildings in Granada, Spain. For the first time, we evaluate the efficiency and risks of the in situ application of the above mentioned treatments onto two historical buildings in Granada. The evaluation consists of a detailed investigation of the micro-biota actively growing during the seven days of the treatments - short-term monitoring and of that remaining on the stones after six and twelve months of the application - long-term monitoring. A molecular strategy, including DNA extraction, PCR amplification of 16S rRNA sequences, construction of clone libraries and fingerprinting by DGGE (Denaturing Gradient Gel Electrophoresis) analysis followed by sequencing was used to gain insight into the microbial diversity present on the differentially treated stones. The monitoring of M. xanthus was performed by PCR using species-specific primers. Similar dynamics were triggered on both buildings by the application of the nutritional solution (inoculated or non-inoculated). 16S rDNA sequencing revealed the dominant occurrence of members belonging to the Firmicutes and Proteobacteria during the seven days of the treatment, whereas after one year the order Bacillales of the phylum Firmicutes was the predominantly detected microorganisms. M. xanthus could be detected only during the seven days of the treatment. The treatments seem to activate no dangerous microorganisms and furthermore, to select the remainder of a homogeneous group of carbonatogenic bacteria on the stones after a long period of time.  相似文献

Nanotrees ZnO films are synthesized by thermal evaporation method on silicon and glass substrates. PbS powder (5 wt%) is used to obtain the nanostructure and growth modifications. ZnO films are compared with non-doped ones (ZnO film was dense structure without nanotrees). The deposited PbS:ZnO films exhibit polycrystalline orientation using X-ray diffraction (XRD), but the films without doping was less crystalline quality. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) were used to characterize the morphology. SEM images (surface and cross section) was confirmed the nanotrees form for doped ZnO film. Energy dispersive X-ray detector (EDX) was used to verify the composition of prepared films. Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis), photoluminescence (PL) and micro Raman techniques were used to investigate the optical properties. The PL spectra intensities were found to increase for PbS:ZnO nanotrees. Up to our knowledge, no work has been published regarding the obtained ZnO nanotrees using PbS as dopant via simple thermal evaporation method.  相似文献

Heparin‐induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) is an uncommon problem in hemodialysis (HD) patients. There have been a few reports on the use of lepirudin, argatroban, or danaparoid in the management of extracorporeal thrombosis (ECT) during dialysis in these patients, because heparin is contraindicated. Here, we report the first long‐term use of bivalirudin to prevent ECT. Our study was conducted at Fahd Bin Jassim Kidney Center in Doha, Qatar. All patients diagnosed with HIT were included. A bivalirudin treatment protocol was developed with the initial dosage and dosage adjustments based on the value of activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT), the risk of bleeding, and the recurrence of ECT. Eight patients were positive for HIT AB. Among them, three were excluded: two due to the use of warfarin for atrial fibrillation and one due to a negative repeat HIT AB test with no ECT. Five patients who were positive for HIT AB and experienced recurrent ECT events during dialysis were included. These patients were monitored while on bivalirudin protocol for a mean of 4.6 ± 2 months, during which they received a mean number of HD treatments of 66 ± 24. There were no bleeding events or adverse reactions related to bivalirudin during the study. Here, we report the first long‐term successful use of a bivalirudin protocol to prevent ECT in ambulatory HD patients with HIT. This protocol allowed for a simple dosing initiation with easy adjustment based on weight, aPTT, and recurrence of ECT events. The protocol provided excellent safety.  相似文献

The revolution of technology and the rapid evolution of the digital world had a significant effect on the development and expansion of e-commerce. Last mile delivery, for which different app-based delivery services have recently emerged, is a new area of research that is not thoroughly addressed. Delivery service is one of the supporting platforms of e-commerce. One of the delivery issues is that many customers experience difficulties in communicating and coordinating with the logistics companies responsible for the delivery service. This challenge is emphasized in this study which introduces a new system to facilitate communication and coordination between customers and logistics companies by using one identity and one interface. This paper is a programming-based study, as the proposed system evaluates a website to serve logistics companies as well as designs an application (app) to serve the customers of logistics companies. Swift, a powerful open-source and object-oriented programming language, and the mark-up language (HTML) were used to build the last mile delivery system. In addition, Firebase, a cloud-hosted real-time database built on Google infrastructure, were used to develop the system. By increasing the level of customer satisfaction and reducing delivery failure rates, this system will eventually increase the prosperity of e-commerce.  相似文献

Despite extensive use, to the best of our knowledge, no trial has simultaneously compared the three currently used erythropoietin‐stimulating agents (ESAs) in a prospective manner in the treatment of anemia of end‐stage renal disease patients. All hemodialysis patients in Qatar who were treated with short‐acting epoetin alfa or beta have been screened. Eligible patients had been prospectively randomized, either to continue on the previous regimen of epoetin or to receive darbepoetin alfa or continuous erythropoietin receptor activator (CERA) for a total period of 40 weeks. All groups were assessed at the end of the study for safety and efficacy parameters. A total of 327 eligible patients were randomized. Mean hemoglobin concentration remained constant within the recommended target range (11–12 g/dL) throughout the study in the three studied groups. The percentage of patients who reached the target range was constantly above 50% in the second half of the study among CERA group patients who also had significantly lower mean number of dose adjustments as compared with the other two groups (P = 0.001). Similarly, the number of discontinuations of ESA among epoetin, darbepoetin, and CERA groups was 17, 19, and 9, respectively (P = 0.042). The frequencies of adverse events were similar in all groups. This study has specifically compared the effect of ESA type on the variability of serum hemoglobin levels in hemodialysis patients. Furthermore, it confirmed the efficacy and safety of once monthly CERA for maintaining tight hemoglobin control within recommended target ranges.  相似文献
