A PbSe solution‐processed nanocrystal‐based infrared photodetector incorporating carrier blocking layers is demonstrated, and significant reduction of dark current is achieved. Detectivity values close to 1012 Jones are achieved by using poly[(9,9′‐dioctylfluorenyl‐2,7‐diyl)‐co‐(4,4′‐(N‐(4‐sec‐butyl))diphenylamine)] (TFB) and ZnO nanocrystals (NC) as the electron blocker and hole blocker, respectively. An improvement in lifetime is also observed in the devices with the ZnO NCs hole blocking layer.  相似文献

Infrared, visible, and multispectral photodetectors are important components for sensing, security and electronics applications. Current fabrication of these devices is based on inorganic materials grown by epitaxial techniques which are not compatible with low‐cost large‐scale processing. Here, air‐stable multispectral solution‐processed inorganic double heterostructure photodetectors, using PbS quantum dots (QDs) as the photoactive layer, colloidal ZnO nanoparticles as the electron transport/hole blocking layer (ETL/HBL), and solution‐derived NiO as the hole transport/electron blocking layer (HTL/EBL) are reported. The resulting device has low dark current density of 20 nA cm‐2 with a noise equivalent power (NEP) on the order of tens of picowatts across the detection spectra and a specific detectivity (D*) value of 1.2 × 1012 cm Hz1/2 W‐1. These parameters are comparable to commercially available Si, Ge, and InGaAs photodetectors. The devices have a linear dynamic range (LDR) over 65 dB and a bandwidth over 35 kHz, which are sufficient for imaging applications. Finally, these solution‐processed inorganic devices have a long storage lifetime in air, even without encapsulation.  相似文献

In this paper, the relationship between the Bezout and the set-theoretic approaches to left coprimeness is studied. It is shown that left coprimeness in the set-theoretic sense implies left coprimeness in the Bezout sense. In addition to these results, we investigate whether some properties for linear left coprime realizations carry over to the nonlinear case, for example we examine the relations between two left coprime realizations of the same system.  相似文献

Filter cake washing is a purification method for particulate products in liquids. This process is mostly one step of a sequence in a solid–liquid separation process. For soluble products not only the mechanical transport mechanisms in washing but also the dissolution process of the product must be considered in order to describe the washing process appropriately. An unconsidered dissolution may cause problems and often severe product loss depending on the material properties. This paper presents several methods of soluble solids washing including filter cake washing by pressure and centrifugal forces as well as moving bed washing. The advantages and drawbacks of each method are discussed to evaluate the suitability of its technical application.  相似文献

Filter cake washing is a common way of improving the quality in purity of particulate products in solid-liquid separation processes. In industrial applications, this process step is usually treated as a black box where optimization is performed through trial and error. Decisive progress has been made in academia by the development of physical models to describe the washing phenomena inside a porous structure such as filter cakes. Although some models have led to a better understanding of the process, experimental efforts are still inevitable for determining optimization strategies. This contribution is an empirical approach to investigate the influence of important process parameters of washing pre-deliquored cakes with the focus on the wash liquor and filtrate flow rate. In washing a pre-deliquored cake, low moisture content at the time of wash liquor addition can be very disadvantageous for the wash efficiency due to inhomogeneous flow. This can be the result of a poor re-wetting process while washing at low wash liquor flow rates. An increase of the flow rate was observed to be very advantageous to set higher moisture content of the filter cake and therefore enforce a homogeneous distribution of the wash liquor. A homogeneous distribution of the wash liquor inside the cake is generally required for good washing.  相似文献

The efficiency roll‐off in blue phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) using different carbazole compounds as the host is systematically studied. While there is no significant difference in device efficiency, OLEDs using ter‐carbazole as the host show a reduction in efficiency roll‐off at high luminance. Data from transient photoluminescence and electroluminescence measurements show that the lower triplet–triplet annihilation (TTA) and triplet–polaron quenching (TPQ) rates in devices with the ter‐carbazole host compared with other carbazole hosts are the reasons for this reduced efficiency roll‐off. It is also found that the host materials with low glass transition temperatures are more susceptible to the efficiency roll‐off problem.  相似文献

Effective material flow in an assembly facility leads to reduced material handling costs and increased productivity. This research focuses on improving the flow of materials for an assembly facility that receives supplied parts through receiving docks and transfers the parts to material storage locations and then to part usage locations. The locations of the receiving docks, storage locations, and line locations are predetermined, but the assignment of parts to dock locations and storage locations and the material flow paths through the facility are decision variables. Furthermore, design decisions such as the dock strategy employed and the configuration of the storage areas lead to additional decision variables. The goal is to reduce overall material handling costs by effectively receiving, storing and transferring the material from loading docks to line locations. The contribution of this research is in applying multi-commodity network flow models that integrate many of the sub-problems that are assumed to be solved a priori in many existing models. This integrated approach was used to evaluate configuration changes for a collaborating facility. One of the scenarios analysed showed an improvement in the material handling costs of nearly 10% as compared to current practices.  相似文献
