Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a static state feedback that achieves noninteraction and internal
stability are obtained. This is accomplished by first characterizing the set of all controllability subspaces (distributions)
that can arise as solutions to the noninteracting control problem. This characterization is then used to identify a fixed
internal dynamics that is common to every noninteractive closed loop. The stability properties of this dynamics is shown to

This paper shows how the theory of nonlinear adaptive observers can be effectively used in the design of internal models for nonlinear output regulation. Twenty-five 9,10-dihydrophenanthrenes, four phenanthrenes, a dihydrodibenzoxepin, and a pyrene, isolated from the wetland plant Juncus acutus, were tested to detect their effects on the green alga Selenastrum capricornutum. Nine of the compounds were isolated and identified for the first time. Most of the compounds caused inhibition of algal growth. In this paper, we address the problem of output regulation for a broad class of multi‐input multi‐output (MIMO) nonlinear systems. Specifically, we consider input–affine systems, which are invertible and input–output linearizable. This class includes, as a trivial special case, the class of MIMO systems which possess a well‐defined vector relative degree. It is shown that if a system in this class is strongly minimum phase, in a sense specified in the paper, the problem of output regulation can be solved via partial‐state feedback or via (dynamic) output feedback. It is known that if a system can be (robustly) globally asymptotically stabilized by means of a feedback that is driven by functions that are uniformly completely observable (UCO), then this system can be practically semiglobally stabilized by means of (possibly dynamic) output feedback. This papers discusses a significant structural hypothesis under which the existence of a dynamic feedback driven by UCO functions is guaranteed. The class of systems which satisfy this hypothesis includes any stabilizable and detectable linear system and any relative degree one nonlinear system which is stabilizable by dynamic output feedback. We address the problem of output regulation for nonlinear systems driven by a linear, neutrally stable exosystem whose frequencies are not known a priori. We present a classical solution in terms of the parallel connection of a robust stabilizer and an internal model, where the latter is adaptively tuned to the device that reproduces the steady-state control necessary to maintain the output-zeroing condition. We propose a solution to the problem of semiglobal output regulation for nonlinear minimum-phase systems driven by uncertain exosystems that does not rely upon conventional adaptation schemes to estimate the frequency of the exogenous signals. Rather, the proposed approach relies upon regression-like arguments used to derive a nonlinear internal model able to offset the presence of an unknown number of harmonic exogenous inputs of uncertain amplitude, phase and frequency. The design methodology guarantees asymptotic regulation if the dimension of the regulator exceeds a lower bound determined by the actual number of harmonic components of the exogenous input. The aptitude of cyclodextrins (CDs) to form host-guest complexes has prompted an increase in the development of new drug formulations. In this study, the inclusion complexes of pipemidic acid (HPPA), a therapeutic agent for urinary tract infections, with native β-CD were prepared in solid state by kneading method and confirmed by FT-IR and 1H NMR. The inclusion complex formation was also characterized in aqueous solution at different pH via UV-Vis titration and phase solubility studies obtaining the stability constant. The 1:1 stoichiometry was established by a Job plot and the inclusion mechanism was clarified using docking experiments. Finally, the antibacterial activity of HPPA and its inclusion complex was tested on P. aeruginosa, E. coli and S. aureus to determine the respective EC50s and EC90s. The results showed that the antibacterial activity of HPPA:β-CD against E. coli and S. aureus is higher than that of HPPA. Furthermore, HPPA and HPPA:β-CD, tested on human hepatoblastoma HepG2 and MCF-7 cell lines by MTT assay, exhibited, for the first time, antitumor activities, and the complex revealed a higher activity than that of HPPA. The use of β-CD allows an increase in the aqueous solubility of the drug, its bioavailability and then its bioactivity. 相似文献
