The authors assessed the method for life-time study of the biomechanical characteristics of ocular tissues in 281 children (562 eyes) aged 7 to 14 years. The method for assessing the biomechanics of the eyelids is described. In detail. The rates of propagation of acoustic waves in normal tissue and in 1.0 to 6.0 diopters myopia are presented. A correlation has been revealed between the increase of the velocity of acoustic surface waves, propagating in the horizontal direction in the internal segment of the orbital area of the upper eyelids, and the value of clinical refraction in myopia. The authors consider clinical signs of myopia-screwing up one's eyes and a wider lid slit-from a biomechanical viewpoint.  相似文献

We have studied the acceleration of electrons by wake fields excited in a resonator by a train of electron bunches. The resonator comprised a cylindrical metal waveguide section, containing a dielectric sleeve with a vacuum channel and ends closed by metal walls. Expressions describing the wake field excited by uniformly moving exciting electron bunches have been derived. The self-consistent process of resonator excitation by a train of charged bunches and the particle acceleration in the excited wake field has been numerically simulated.  相似文献

Conductivity mechanisms for a composite based on cermet containing iron and barium borosilicate glasses are studied. It is established that in the region of elevated (above room) temperatures the resistance of a composite is mainly governed by the conducting properties of metal inclusions consisting of iron silicides and monoboride. In the low-temperature region (T<260 K) With T180 K transfer of charges is caused by the passage of electrons beconductivity is noticeably affected by a glass-crystalline component. "Inpitan" is the first Soviet full-value balanced food mixture for tube feeding, produced under industrial conditions. It was used for enteral nutrition of 50 patients with different diseases of the upper gastro-intestinal tract. The mixture contains protein (12%), fat (30%), carbohydrates (58%), all the necessary mineral substances, and water- and fat-soluble vitamins. Depending on the clinical situation the patients received 2000-3200 ml of the mixture/day. The use of "Inpitan" with the energy density of 1 kcal/ml as the only source of nutrition during 7-75 days has demonstrated its high nutritious effectiveness. When the mixture was introduced directly into the small intestine according to the authors' schedule, no dyspeptic symptoms (eructation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, meteorism, diarrhea) were recorded, dipsosis and the sense of starvation disappeared, the body weight increased, biochemical parameters returned to normal, the time of the preoperational preparation was significantly reduced, the post-operational complications were better managed.  相似文献

Conclusions A technology was developed and tested for the production of kyanite-sillimanite lightweight refractories from self-compacting compositions based on pearl polystyrene. With this method the drying time of the green product is 3–4 times shorter and the finished product does not require trimming. Substantial part of equipment in gas-treating plants for removal of acidic impurities in oil and gas refineries needs repair, for which purpose austenitic sleeves are often used. Austenitic surfacing nickel alloys recommended for restoring the damaged surface by overlaying welding was found to be unsuitable because both the deposited material and the fusion line with the base metal are electrochemically heterogeneous, which makes repaired apparatuses insufficiently reliable. Conclusions It has been shown that the use of the industrial S-1 thermostabilizer in the synthesis of polyethylene terephthalate aids in obtaining high molecular polymer with an improved thermal stability and an increased degree of crystallinity.The effect of S-1 thermostabilizer on the physicomechanical properties complex polyester yarns has been studied.
