At the present time the VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service is generally accepted as an alternative for people seeking cheaper means to make a phone call. Users of VoIP service may fall anywhere along a spectrum between types at two extremes: one of which is an ordinary caller who doesn’t use the telephone for commercial purposes, while the other is a person who generates spam calls for commercial purposes. The focus of this paper concerns modeling of spam callers’ behavior to calculate the SPIT (Spam over Internet Telephony) level for management of the quality of service. From the perspective of a VoIP service provider’s view, spam callers are also a type of customer and sometimes they are valuable for increasing revenue. However, if a service provider does not manage spam calls, it can harm their business, because ordinary users might not receive phone calls using the phone numbers of the VoIP service. Thus, there is a trade-off between revenues and usability in managing spam calls in the VoIP service. This work presents a model of spam caller’s behavior using the DEVS (Discrete Event System Specification) formalism. The DEVS formalism is applicable as a model of behavior, by defining the state and state transition of the target of the model. In our model, we use six main parameters to define the states and state transitions. Each state is represented by a number which indicates the SPIT level of a caller. If the value is 1.0 then the caller is more similar to a spam caller. Based on the model definition, we constructed a SPIT level Calculation UI (User Interface) that is used to manage spam calls to improve VoIP service quality. 相似文献

Exosomes are a class of extracellular vesicles of around 100 nm in diameter that are secreted by most cells and contain various bioactive molecules reflecting their cellular origin and mediate intercellular communication. Studies of these exosomal features in tumor pathogenesis have led to the development of therapeutic and diagnostic approaches using exosomes for cancer therapy. Exosomes have many advantages for conveying therapeutic agents such as small interfering RNAs, microRNAs, membrane-associated proteins, and chemotherapeutic compounds; thus, they are considered a prime candidate as a delivery tool for cancer treatment. Since exosomes also provide an optimal microenvironment for the effective function of immunomodulatory factors, exosomes harboring bioactive molecules have been bioengineered as cancer immunotherapies that can effectively activate each stage of the cancer immunity cycle to successfully elicit cancer-specific immunity. This review discusses the advantages of exosomes for treating cancer and the challenges that must be overcome for their successful clinical development. 相似文献

This study investigated the transition between the free and bound forms of functional compounds in germinated black soybean. Black soybean was germinated at 25°C over 6 days and then the free and bound forms of functional compounds were extracted. Total free polyphenol, flavonoid, and phenolic acid contents in raw black soybean increased from 1.03 mg GAE/g, 0.29 mg CE/g, and 315.67 μg/g to 1.44mg GAE/g, 0.64mg CE/g, and 511.01 μg/g, respectively, by 4 days after germination. Changes to phenolic acid compositions can be divided into four groups, and the germination process can convert compounds to phenolic acid via anabolism and catabolism. The highest total free isoflavone content in germinated black soybean (3,724.40 μg/g) was observed at 4 days. Bound polyphenol, flavonoid, phenolic acid, and isoflavone contents decreased as the germination period increased. These results suggest that the germination process increased compound functionality in black soybean. 相似文献
