ZnO rice like nonarchitects are grafted on the graphene carbon core via a rapid microwave synthesis route. The prepared grafted systems are characterized via XRD, SEM, RAMAN, and XPS to examined the structural and morphological parameters. Zinc oxide grafted graphene sheets (ZnO-G) are further doped in β-phase of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) to prepare the polymer nanocomposites (PNCs) via mixed solvent approach (THF/DMF). β-phase confirmation of PVDF PNCs is done by FTIR studies. It is observed that ZnO-G filler enhances the β-phase content in the PNCs. Non-doped PVDF and PNCs are further studied for rheological behavior under the shear rate of 1–100 s−1. Doping of ZnO-G dopant to the PVDF matrix changes its discontinuous shear thickening (DST) behavior to continues shear thickening behavior (CST). Hydrocluster formation and their interaction with the dopant could be the reason for this striking DST to CST behavioral change. Strain amplitude sweep (10−3% -10%) oscillatory test reveals that the PNCs shows extended linear viscoelastic region with high elastic modulus and lower viscous modulus. Effective shear thickening behavior and strong elastic strength of these PNCs present their candidature for various fields including mechanical and soft body armor applications. 相似文献

Gel state reactions offer new direction for the reactivity of the organic molecules or metal‐organic materials upon photoirradiation with shorter reaction times and high yields compared to solid and solution states. The restricted molecular movement among the molecules in the soft solids control the stereoselectivity of the photoproducts in the gel state reactions. To date, most of the strategies based on self‐assembly have been demonstrated in the solid state, in particular for [2+2] reactions of olefins and polymerization reactions of diacetylenes via 1,4 addition. The soft materials are of emerging materials in recent days given their many applicative day‐to‐day aspects. This review gives a glimpse of recent reports on pericyclic reactions in the gel state that are designed based on the self‐assembly concept. The central nervous system (CNS) is the most complex structure in the body, consisting of multiple cell types with distinct morphology and function. Development of the neuronal circuit and its function rely on a continuous crosstalk between neurons and non-neural cells. It has been widely accepted that extracellular vesicles (EVs), mainly exosomes, are effective entities responsible for intercellular CNS communication. They contain membrane and cytoplasmic proteins, lipids, non-coding RNAs, microRNAs and mRNAs. Their cargo modulates gene and protein expression in recipient cells. Several lines of evidence indicate that EVs play a role in modifying signal transduction with subsequent physiological changes in neurogenesis, gliogenesis, synaptogenesis and network circuit formation and activity, as well as synaptic pruning and myelination. Several studies demonstrate that neural and non-neural EVs play an important role in physiological and pathological neurodevelopment. The present review discusses the role of EVs in various neurodevelopmental disorders and the prospects of using EVs as disease biomarkers and therapeutics. 相似文献

The words "No" and "Yes" are involved in conditioning to prohibit or encourage behavior, respectively. The authors, therefore, hypothesized that these words would be attributed to endogenous valence, activating neuronal circuits involved with valence and emotional control. Functional MRI (fMRI) at 4 Tesla was used to record regional brain activity while participants were exposed to emphatic vocalizations of the words. Results showed that No and Yes were associated with opposite brain-behavior responses; while No was negatively valenced, produced slower response times, and evoked a negative signal in the right lateral orbitofrontal cortex (OFC), Yes was positively valenced, produced faster response times, and evoked a positive signal in a contiguous region of the OFC. Attribution of negative valence to No and trait anger control were associated with increased responsivity of the OFC to No. Inasmuch as sensitivity to the prohibitive command No develops during childhood through interaction with primary caregivers as the first social objects, our findings may implicate the lateral OFC in the neurobiology of emotion regulation and subsequent social development. 39 3–6 mo old male Long-Evans rats were trained in a discrete-trial forward autoshaping paradigm to touch an extended lever to earn food pellets. Reinforcement was delivered either simultaneously with or 6 sec after lever retraction, which occurred either noncontingently after 15 sec or when the Ss touched the lever. Treatment with subcutaneous des-glycinamide arginine vasopressin (DGAVP [15 μg/kg]) 1 hr before sessions increased the rate of acquisition of the extended-lever-touch response and also facilitated development of intertrial (adjunctive) nose poking. The effects of the peptide were more robust in the more difficult delayed reinforcement task. Results are consistent with previous findings that DGAVP lacks the classical peripheral activity of vasopressin. In both experiments, peptide treatment was terminated before asymptotic levels of performance were attained; the continued facilitation of acquisition in treated groups suggests a specific enhancement of learning and/or enhanced memory retrieval. How can we achieve the conflicting goals of reduced transmission power and increased capacity in a wireless network, without attempting to follow the instantaneous state of a fading channel? In this paper, we address this problem by jointly considering power control and multiuser detection (MUD) with outage-probability constraints in a Rayleigh fast-fading environment. The resulting power-control algorithms (PCAs) utilize the statistics of the channel and operate on a much slower timescale than traditional schemes. We propose an optimal iterative solution that is conceptually simple and finds the minimum sum power of all users while meeting their outage targets. Using a derived bound on outage probability, we introduce a mapping from outage to average signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) constraints. This allows us to propose a suboptimal iterative scheme that is a variation of an existing solution to a joint power control and MUD problem involving SIR constraints. We further use a recent result that transforms complex SIR expressions into a compact and decoupled form, to develop a noniterative and computationally inexpensive PCA for large systems of users. Simulation results are presented showing the closeness of the optimal and mapped schemes, speed of convergence, and performance comparisons. 相似文献
