Incidence of aflatoxin M1 in human breast milk in Tehran, Iran   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
This study examined the exposure of infants to aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) and of lactating mothers to aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), using AFM1 in breast milk as a biomarker for exposure to AFB1. An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was modified for the analysis of AFM1 in breast milk samples from 160 women in Tehran, Iran. AFM1 was detected in 157 samples by average concentration of 8.2 ± 5.1 ng/kg (range 0.3–26.7 ng/kg).The concentration of AFM1 in one sample was higher than the maximum tolerance limit accepted by European Union and USA (25 ng/kg), but in 55 samples was higher than the maximum concentration recommended by Australia and Switzerland (10 ng/kg).Logistic regression Analysis failed to show significant correlation between AFM1 and gestational age, education, postnatal age, gender, nationality, clinical condition, the number of family member, the number of children, type and amount of dairy consumption, vegetable, fruits, oil and meat. But it was significant relation to the cereal consumption, also to the height at birth.  相似文献

As power consumption results in greenhouse gas emissions and energy costs for operators, analyzing power consumption in wireless networks and portable devices is of crutial importance. Due to environmental effects resulted from energy generation and exploitation as well as the cost of surging energy, energy-aware wireless systems attract unprecedented attention. Cognitive Radio (CR) is one of the optimal solutions that allows for energy savings on both the networks and devices. Thus, cognitive radio contributes to increase spectral and energy efficiency as well as reduction in power consumption. In addition, energy consumption of the CR technologies as intelligent technology should be considered to realize the green networks objective. In this article, we look into energy efficiency of the cognitive wireless network paradigms. Moreover, energy efficiency analysis and modelling in these systems are specifically focused on achieving green communications objectives. However, CRs by altering all elements of wireless data communications are considered in this paper, and the energy-efficient operation and energy efficiency enabler perspectives of CRs are also analyzed.

Various amounts of dicyandiamide (Dicy), two grades of epoxy resins, i.e. Epiran 06 and Epikote 828, and three different accelerators including benzyl dimethyl amine (BDMA), 3-(4-chlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethyl urea (Monuron) and 2-methyl imidazole (Im) were used in curing of Dicy/epoxy resin system. Both of the used epoxy resins were based on diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA). The effects of type and concentration of accelerators on curing behavior were studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) method in dynamic or non-isothermal mode. The optimum concentration of Dicy for curing of epoxy resins was obtained based on the glass transition temperature of the cured epoxy/Dicy formulations. The maximum glass transition temperature of 139 °C was obtained at the stoichiometric ratio of Dicy to epoxy of 0.65. The results showed that BDMA has a broader curing peak in DSC and starts the cure reaction earlier than the others. However, Monuron has a narrow curing reaction peak with good cure latency. The tensile properties of Dicy-cured Epiran 06 and Epikote 828 epoxy resins reinforced with chopped strand mat showed that these two epoxy resins have similar mechanical properties. For composites based on the Epiran 06 and Epikote 828 reinforced with 40 wt % glass chopped strand mat, tensile strength and modulus were 156 and 153.4 MPa and 11.6 and 12.4 GPa, respectively.  相似文献

The dynamic range of fiber-optic fluorescent probes such as single fibers and fiber bundles is calculated for strongly absorbing samples, such as process liquids, foodstuffs, and lubricants. The model assumes an excitation beam profile based on a Lambertian light source and uses analytical forms of the collection efficiency, followed by an Abel transformation and numerical integration. It is found that the effect of primary absorption of the excitation light and secondary absorption of the fluorescence is profound. For fiber bundles and bifurcated fiber probes, the upper accessible concentration limit is roughly given by the absorption length of the primary and secondary absorption. Fluorescence detectors that are placed at right angles to the excitation beam axis or collinear to the beam axis are equally strongly affected by secondary absorption. A probe in which the same fiber is used for excitation and for collection of the fluorescence emerges as the fiber probe with the largest accessible concentration range.  相似文献

Improvement of the mechanical properties of adhesives and adhesive joints has been a subject of great interest in recent years. Up to now, several methods have been presented such as modifying substrate shapes, adding microparticles (MPs) and nanoparticles (NPs), and embedding micro and macrofibers in the adhesive layer. This review aims to investigate how these reinforcements of different scales in the adhesive layer influence the mechanical properties of adhesive joints and adhesives. Characteristics and applications of reinforcements are introduced in the first part. In the second part, the effects of several parameters commonly investigated by researchers on the strength, stiffness and fracture toughness improvement of polymeric materials are reviewed for reinforcements of different scales. Finally, damage mechanisms involved in increasing or decreasing the mechanical properties are reviewed and discussed.  相似文献

The effect of cobalt naphthenate on photo degradation of low density polyethylene was studied. The carbonyl index, tensile strength, elongation at break, density and relative crystallinity of the samples were measured. The samples were made of different concentrations of LDPE and cobalt naphthenate. Parts of uniform thickness were cut for testing before and after UV-irradiation at every 30-days interval for 90 days. From the results of FTIR, and other measurements, it was observed that the UV-irradiation affects on the LDPE films and the rate of degradation increased with increasing both the concentration of the photosensitizer and time of irradiation.  相似文献

One of the most strategic materials used in automotive industries is galvanised steel sheets, of which 50% to 85% of the weight of each car is made. However, these materials with the desired specification cannot be produced in Iran and must be outsourced to foreign providers. Therefore, outsourcing has become an indispensable part of Iranian automotive industries and a cooperative buyer-provider relationship is essential to survive and to acquire a reasonable profit. A recent approach in MCDM models is the BOCR analysis of Benefits, Opportunities, Costs, and Risks which evaluate both positive and negative aspects of each provider. However, due to the incommensurability among the composite priorities on the four merit factors, different synthesis approaches introduced in BOCR may offer different orderings of alternatives; which can be confusing for decision-makers to reach a final decision. On the other hand, the VIKOR method determines a compromise solution which is the closest to the ideal in the presence of conflicting and incommensurable criteria. This paper suggests integrated VIKOR-AHP-BOCR to select the best providers of galvanised steel sheets for IKCO that is the largest Iranian automaker. The proposed model and defined criteria can be used as a comprehensive guide by other companies for this purpose.  相似文献

Prior work has addressed the effects of multipath fading and path loss separately for broadcast and multiple-access channels. It has been shown that the number of simultaneously active users are of the order \(\Theta (\ln (\ln (n)))\) for random channel gains with exponentially-decaying tails, where n is the total number of users. Furthermore, it has been shown that assuming path loss is dominant and ignoring multipath fading, the user capacity (i.e. the maximum number of simultaneously active users in a wireless system) of multi-user channels is of the order \(\Theta (\ln (n))\) when the users are spatially distributed on the plane with a Gaussian or Uniform distribution. In this paper, we study the shadowing effects on the number of active users for broadcast and multiple-access channels in which the users are randomly distributed on the plane. It is shown that as the total number of users in the multi-user channel goes to infinity, the number of active users is of the order \(\Theta (\sqrt{\ln (n)}).\)  相似文献
