ABSTRACT

AlxCoCrCuFeNi high-entropy alloys were synthesised through mechanical alloying and spark plasma sintering. Different alloys were produced by varying the aluminium content (x?=?0.5, 1.5, 2.5 and 4). The influences of the milling duration on the evolution of microstructure, constituent phases and morphology were studied. Increasing milling time resulted in grain refinement and higher solid solution homogenisation characterised by a high internal strain. As a consequence of aluminium addition, the microstructure of materials evolved from face centered cubic (FCC) and body centered cubic (BCC) phases to FCC, BCC and ordered BCC phases. Both mechanical alloying and SPS conditions as well as aluminium content led to grain refinement and variations of mechanical properties. In particular, hardness increased with increasing aluminium content. The aluminium percentage and the evolution of consequent phases are responsible for the microstructural stability at high temperatures. In addition, with Al content increase, the further synergy of strength and ductility along with a more pronounced strain hardening was obtained.  相似文献

There are many optimization problems in different branches of science that should be solved using an appropriate methodology. Population-based optimization algorithms are one of the most efficient approaches to solve this type of problems. In this paper, a new optimization algorithm called All Members-Based Optimizer (AMBO) is introduced to solve various optimization problems. The main idea in designing the proposed AMBO algorithm is to use more information from the population members of the algorithm instead of just a few specific members (such as best member and worst member) to update the population matrix. Therefore, in AMBO, any member of the population can play a role in updating the population matrix. The theory of AMBO is described and then mathematically modeled for implementation on optimization problems. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated on a set of twenty-three standard objective functions, which belong to three different categories: unimodal, high-dimensional multimodal, and fixed-dimensional multimodal functions. In order to analyze and compare the optimization results for the mentioned objective functions obtained by AMBO, eight other well-known algorithms have been also implemented. The optimization results demonstrate the ability of AMBO to solve various optimization problems. Also, comparison and analysis of the results show that AMBO is superior and more competitive than the other mentioned algorithms in providing suitable solution.  相似文献

The authors reviewed existing modelling platforms as part of a large study of water and pollution pathways through catchments in Ireland (Irish EPA Pathways project). Worldwide, work on producing catchment management tools (CMTs) has been underway for some time and some of the tools identified here date from as early as 1989. Some of the management problems and model conceptualisations have not changed very much but now there is a stronger emphasis on water quality and more concern about a wider range of contaminants. What has changed substantially is the use of Geographical Information System and Graphical Windows interfaces as technologies supporting a wider practical use of these tools. This review of existing CMTs identified three systems which would be candidates if a CMT had to be deployed immediately in Ireland. All have a rigid catchment model structure and lack the flexibility to include any new scientific information or flow-path conceptualisation that may emerge. The same modelling structure is used for all parts of the catchment, with spatial variation represented by parameter variation only and not variation in model structure. They also have rigid graphical user interfaces which cannot be tailored to match any specific requirements that may emerge from the pathways end-user workshops. Thus a CMT with a more flexible and accessible modelling structure is required if the results of current research are to be incorporated.  相似文献

One of the most important reactions in organic synthesis is Ullmann-type C–N coupling reaction which has been used for preparation of numerous biologically active compounds. In this work, CuI immobilized on tricationic ionic liquid anchored on functionalized magnetic hydrotalcite (Fe3O4/HT-TIL-CuI) has been successfully prepared and fully characterized by different techniques, including fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, vibrating sample magnetometer, thermo gravimetric analysis, transmission electron microscopy, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, elemental mapping, zeta potential, X-ray diffraction, temperature programmed desorption of ammonia (NH3-TPD), temperature-programmed reduction and inductively coupled plasma. The results showed that the as-prepared nanocatalyst possesses plate-like morphology with approximate size of 50 nm and superparamagnetic behavior. Also, total acidity and total hydrogen consumption of the nanocatalyst were measured to be 8.5 and 1.41 mmol g?1, respectively. This nanocatalyst exhibited favorable performance for C–N coupling reaction among a variety of aryl halides and N(H)-heterocycles (benzimidazoles, pyrazoles and triazoles) in the presence of 2.5 mol% of nanocatalyst without any additives under air atmosphere revealing high yields in all cases. Besides, it is noted that in the present system the desired product can be easily and quickly isolated and nanocatalyst also recovered magnetically from the reaction mixture employing a permanent magnet for at least six consecutive trials without a discernible decrease in catalytic activity which makes the proposed methodology appropriate for industrial. The findings demonstrated the advantages of the present method as no need for neutral atmosphere, appropriate times, recyclability of the catalyst, broad substrate scope, minimization of chemical waste, simple purification of products, easy workup process, and high yields.

Mono and disubstituted 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones were obtained in good yields via a one-pot, three component reaction of isatoic anhydride and aromatic aldehydes with ammonium acetate or primary amines in the presence of perchlorated zirconia (HClO4/ZrO2) nano particles as an efficient solid acid catalyst under solvent-free conditions. ABSTRACT

Vertex colouring is among the most important problems in graph theory which has been widely applied across different real-world problems. In vertex colouring problem (VCP), the goal is to assign a distinct colour to each vertex of the graph in such a way that no two adjacent vertices have the same colour. This paper presents a fuzzy irregular cellular automaton (FICA) for finding a near-optimal solution for the VCP. FICA is an extension fuzzy cellular automaton (FCA) in which the cells of the automaton can be arranged in an irregular structure. The aim of the proposed method is to reap the benefits of both FCA and irregular cellular automata while minimising their drawbacks. To evaluate the proposed method, various computer simulations have been conducted on a variety of graphs. The results suggest that the proposed method is able to achieve better results in terms of the minimum number of required colours and the execution time of the algorithm, compared to other peer algorithms.  相似文献
