In recent years, some Chinese doctors have proposed a new concept, gallstone removal without gallbladder excision, along with transition of the medical model. As there is no specialized endoscope for gallstone removal without gallbladder excision, we designed and produced a new series of gallbladder endoscopes and accessories that have already been given a Chinese invention patent (No. ZL200810199041.2). The design of these gallbladder endoscopes was based on the anatomy and physiology of the gallbladder, characteristics of gallbladder disease, ergonomics, and industrial design. This series of gallbladder endoscopes underwent clinical trials in two hospitals appointed by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The clinical trials showed that surgeries of gallstones, gallbladder polyps, and cystic duct calculus could be smoothly performed with these products. In summary, this series of gallbladder endoscopes is safe, reliable, and effective for gallstone removal without gallbladder excision. The bioanode is the defining feature of microbial fuel cell (MFC) technology and often limits its performance. In the current work, we report the engineering of a novel hierarchically porous architecture as an efficient bioanode, consisting of biocompatible chitosan and vacuum-stripped graphene (CHI/VSG). With the hierarchical pores and unique VSG, an optimized bioanode delivered a remarkable maximum power density of 1530 mW m(-2) in a mediator-less MFC, 78 times higher than a carbon cloth anode.  相似文献

To explain the intrinsic mechanism of the yield plateau phenomenon in commercially pure titanium, the tensile behaviors of commercially pure titanium specimens after 91.6% cryorolling and subsequent annealing at 280 ℃, 335 ℃, 450 ℃ and 600 ℃ have been studied. The results show that the yield plateau phenomenon is a result of dislocation behaviors controlled by grain size and thus only exists within a given range of mean grain size. α grain boundaries are the main dislocation multiplication sources of commercially pure titanium. Fine-grained microstructure could offer numerous dislocation multiplication locations during deformation. Once the applied stress is above the yielding strength, dislocations multiply rapidly and the mobile dislocation density is high. To retrieve the imposed strain rate, the mean dislocation velocity is bound to be low. Therefore, it takes time for them to interact with each other. As a result, the movement of dislocations is hardly blocked and the deformation could continue at a nearly constant applied stress. Consequently, the so-called yield plateau behavior presents in the tensile curves. The disappearance of yield plateau phenomenon in coarse-grained and ultrafi ne-grained microstructures is attributed to the quick realization of the mutual interactions among dislocations at the initial stage of tensile test.  相似文献

The effect of hydro gen charging on microstructural evolution and corrosion behavior of a Ti-4Al-2V-1Mo-1Fe alloy in a 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution was investigated.The results showed that the hydrogen charging induced the formation and growth of γ-TiH and δ-TiH2 phases,leading to the initiation and propagation of hydrogen-induced cracks.It was also found that hydrogen charging can change the passivity of this alloy and increase its pitting corrosion susceptibility.The main reason for these was attributed to the fo rmation of hydrides in α phase in the Ti-4Al-2V-1Mo-1Fe alloy,leading to the preferential dissolution of the α phase and thus the deterioration in the protective ability of passive film.  相似文献

Hydroxyapatite (HAP) is a common bio-adsorbent, which performance depends heavily upon its morphology and microporous structure. In this study, a novel synthesis strategy was proposed for hierarchical porous HAP microspheres by a simple “one-pot” hydrothermal reaction. In the strategy, L-glutamic acid serves as soft template to modulate the morphology and inner crystalline of HAP. To evaluate the application potential, doping Ni2+ on hierarchical porous HAP microspheres gives metal chelated affinity adsorbents. The prepared adsorbents show a perfect spherical shape, particles size of 96.6 μm, relatively specific surface area of 48.5 m2·g-1 and hierarchical pores (mesopores: 4 nm and macropores: 53 nm). By the adsorption evaluation, it reveals that the Ni2+-HAP adsorbents have high adsorption capacities of 275.11 and 97.55 m2·g-1 for hemoglobin and bovine serum albumin, respectively, which is comparable to other similar adsorbent. Therefore, this work provides a promising method for high-efficiency hydroxyapatite microspheres for proteins purification.  相似文献

The Fischer–Tropsch synthesis (FTS) continues to be an attractive alternative for producing a broad range of fuels and chemicals through the conversion of syngas (H2 and CO), which can be derived from various sources, such as coal, natural gas, and biomass. Among iron carbides, Fe2C, as an active phase, has barely been studied due to its thermodynamic instability. Here, we fabricated a series of Fe2C embedded in hollow carbon sphere (HCS) catalysts. By varying the crystallization time, the shell thickness of the HCS was manipulated, which significantly influenced the catalytic performance in the FTS. To investigate the relationship between the geometric structure of the HCS and the physic-chemical properties of Fe species, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, N2 physical adsorption, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction, Raman spectroscopy, and Mössbauer spectroscopy techniques were employed to characterize the catalysts before and after the reaction. Evidently, a suitable thickness of the carbon layer was beneficial for enhancing the catalytic activity in the FTS due to its high porosity, appropriate electronic environment, and relatively high Fe2C content.  相似文献
