A proposed method to reconstruct the three‐dimensional dispersion profile of polymeric fibres based on variable wavelength interferometry 下载免费PDF全文
In this paper, we suggest a modification to the conventional variable wavelength interferometry. This modification allowed us to calculate the dispersion curve of each point inside polymeric fibres instead of calculating the mean dispersion of these fibres. This modified mathematical treatment was used to calculate the three‐dimensional dispersion profile of isotactic polypropylene fibres suffering from necking deformation. The different steps of calculating the three‐dimensional dispersion profile of the fibre were demonstrated. The application of this modified method revealed the variation of the fibre material dispersion before, inside and after the necking region. In addition, the birefringence profile of the necked isotactic polypropylene was determined using the proposed mathematical treatment. This allowed us to diagnose the interaction of the incident waves with necked polypropylene fibres, which gives extensive information on the orientation of the molecular chains during the formation of the necking phenomenon. 相似文献

Plasma ignition threshold of nanoparticle-based and bulk silver targets was measured in air. The plasma was initiated by a Nd:YAG laser at wavelengths of 355, 532, and 1064 nm. The plasma ignition was monitored utilizing the prominent Ag I line at 546.5 nm. Lower ignition thresholds of the nanoparticle-based silver target were estimated at 0.4?±?0.02, 0.34?±?0.04, and 0.27?±?0.035 J cm~(-2) coupled with the different laser wavelengths, respectively. In contrast, the bulk silver target plasma exhibited an order of magnitude higher ignition threshold. A three orders of magnitude enhanced emission intensity from the nano-based target over the bulk target was achieved at lower levels of laser irradiation. A reduction of the thermal diffusion length of the nanosilver was assumed in order to theoretically predict this reduction in the plasma threshold. The cell formation is the first step in the design of Cellular Manufacturing systems. It consists of grouping parts with similar processing needs into cells and identifying the set of machines needed to process these parts. The aim is to minimize the material handling costs and maximize the use of the machines. In this paper, the machine reliability and the alternative process routings are taken into account to form the production cells. The presence of these factors in addition to the production volume, operation sequence and production time makes the problem more realistic but also more complex. Most authors solve this kind of problems by mathematical programming approaches that require large amounts of computational efforts. Therefore, a modified version of the Clonal Selection Algorithm is introduced and a local search mechanism is adopted in this paper. The obtained results are compared with those of the Branch and Bound (B&B) method using LINGO software. The comparison reveals the effectiveness and the efficiency of the proposed method in terms of both solution quality and computation time required. 相似文献

Luenberger observer theory is extended to distributed parameter systems. This extension is based on the consideration of sensors. Laurus nobilis is one of the most broadly used spices in Moroccan gastronomy. Its antimicrobial activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial species was demonstrated. Likewise, its toxicity was investigated on Swiss albinos' mice . Daily, mice were treated orally with 0.003 and 0.3 mg during 7 days. Plasmatic markers and enzymatic systems were assessed and histological alterations were evaluated. A significant increase in creatine phosphokinase level was observed. The microscopic evaluation showed that L. nobilis induces morphological perturbation in mice's liver. The results also showed an inhibitory effect of glyceraldehydes 3-phosphate dehydrogenase and an important increase in the level of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and succinate dehydrogenase and no change in catalase activities. The results showed that L. nobilis induces toxicity at 0.3 mg/g mouse and affects energy metabolism and oxidative stress.
