Hydro(solvo)thermal reactions of Cu(NO3)2·2.5H2O or Zn(NO3)2·6H2O with 1,3-H2bdc provided two structurally different coordination polymers; a 2D network “metallacalixarene” based on the paddlewheel-type cluster with the formula [Cu(1,3-bdc)·H2O]·H2O (1) and a 3D framework [Zn(1,3-bdc)] (2), respectively. The use of a base was unnecessary in this synthesis; however, the presence of benzene played a crucial role in the crystallization of the desired products and could act as a template molecule in the synthesis of polymer (1). The unsaturated apical sites in the Cu2 cluster of polymer (1) were occupied by water molecules, what consequently led to the structural decomposition of the framework after exposing the sample in air, which was not the case of the Zn-coordination polymer (2).  相似文献

Ceramic nanocomposites of alumina and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are experimentally studied for use as microwave absorbers in particle accelerators. The weight percentage of multi-walled CNTs in SPS sintered nanocomposite samples is varied from 0.5 to 10% and the complex permittivity is measured. The RF absorption is strong and relatively flat in the frequency band 1-40 GHz for a CNT weight percentage in the range 1-2.5%, which is just above the percolation threshold. The permittivity is observed to increase dramatically with increasing CNT weight percentage above the percolation threshold as observed elsewhere, and in accordance with theoretical treatments. The electromagnetic properties of the nanocomposites are little changed in going from 294 K to 77 K. The DC conductivity of the alumina-CNT nanocomposite is also sufficient to drain static charge in particle accelerator beamline environments, even at cryogenic temperatures. Fabrication of the nanocomposites using an industrial RF sintering process compatible with large sizes shows that the microwave absorption properties of small samples are similar to those of the SPS sintered samples.  相似文献

The circular dichroism (CD) spectra in visible range of the 3-nitroaniline (m-NA) single crystal, of its solution in chloroform, and in the KBr pellet were recorded. Neither the molecular (m or Cs) nor the crystal (mm2 or C2v) point groups belong to the chiral groups. The DFT calculation of CD spectrum of the m-NA isolated neutral molecule confirmed its chirality. The red shifted bands in the calculated CD spectrum of m-NA radical anion (charged polaron), as compared with the neutral molecule, resemble better the spectra of solids than that of the solution. It seems that these facts corroborate qualitatively the “hop and turn” model explaining the m-NA optical nonlinearity and electric conductivity proposed in Szostak et al. [M.M. Szostak, H. Chojnacki, E. Staryga, M. D?u?niewski, G. B?k, Chem. Phys. 365 (2009) 44-52].  相似文献

An attempt to modify sintering of iron and aluminium elemental powders with use of small additions of Mg and MgH2 was presented in this paper. The kinetics of such modified sintering was investigated using DSC technique, XRD analysis and SEM observations. Significant changes in the mechanism of exothermal formation reaction of Fe–Al intermetallic phases in compositions doped with magnesium and its hydride was observed. Initiation temperature of Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis (SHS) reaction was pronouncedly shifted to lower value as compared with undoped composition. Influence of additions on the SHS reaction kinetics parameters was also calculated with use of the JMA model and changes of the Avrami exponent value of specific phase formation was noticed. Positive effect of MgH2 addition on partial homogeneity of final product was also studied.  相似文献

This work is devoted to some recent developments in uncertainty analysis of environmental models in the presence of incomplete knowledge. The classical uncertainty methodology based on probabilistic modeling provides direct estimations of relevant statistical measures to quantify the uncertainty on the model responses thanks to a nice mixing between Monte Carlo simulations and the use of efficient statistical treatments. However, this approach may lead to unrealistic results when not enough information is available to specify the probability distribution functions (pdfs) of input parameters. For example, if a fixed (i.e., the pdf is a Dirac distribution) variable is unknown between a and b, the proper way to model this knowledge is to consider a set of δc distributions (a δc distribution means that the probability that the parameter is equal to c is 1 and 0 elsewhere), c belonging to [a,b]. This is quite different from assume an equidistribution. Thus, to respect the real state of knowledge in industrial applications, a new modeling based on the theory of evidence is introduced. It allows an extension of classical Monte Carlo simulations by relaxing assumptions related to the choice of probability distribution functions and possible dependencies between uncertain parameters. To illustrate the principle of our modeling, a comparison with the probabilistic modeling is given in the case of the transfer of a radionuclide in the environment.  相似文献

A recently proposed argument to explain the improved performance of the eight-point algorithm that results from using normalized data (Chojnacki, W., et al. in IEEE Trans. Pattern Anal. Mach. Intell. 25(9):1172–1177, 2003) relies upon adoption of a certain model for statistical data distribution. Under this model, the cost function that underlies the algorithm operating on the normalized data is statistically more advantageous than the cost function that underpins the algorithm using unnormalized data. Here we extend this explanation by introducing a more refined, structured model for data distribution. Under the extended model, the normalized eight-point algorithm turns out to be approximately consistent in a statistical sense. The proposed extension provides a link between the existing statistical rationalization of the normalized eight-point algorithm and the approach of Mühlich and Mester for enhancing total least squares estimation methods via equilibration. The paper forms part of a wider effort to rationalize and interrelate foundational methods in vision parameter estimation.  相似文献

The influence of undecaprenol on phosphatidylcholine macrovesicular bilayer lipid membranes has been studied by electrophysiological techniques. The current-voltage characteristics, ionic transference numbers, the membrane conductance-temperature relationships and the membrane breakdown voltage were measured. The permeability coefficients for Na+ and Cl- ions, the activation energy of ion migration across the membrane, the membrane hydrophobic thickness and the membrane Young's modulus were determined. Undecaprenol increases membrane conductance, membrane capacitance, membrane ionic permeability and membrane elastic deformability, decreases the activation energy, membrane hydrophobic thickness and membrane electromechanical stability, and does not change membrane selectivity. The formation by undecaprenyl molecules of fluid microdomains modulating membrane hydrophobic thickness is postulated. The data suggest that the behaviour of undecaprenol in membranes is regulated by transmembrane electrical potential.  相似文献

A smooth object depicted in a monochrome image will often exhibit brightness variation, or shading. A problem much studied in computer vision has been that of how object shape may be recovered from image shading. When the imaging conditions are such that an overhead point-source illuminates a smooth Lambertian surface, the problem may be formulated as that of finding a solution to an eikonal equation. This article will focus on the existence and uniqueness of such solutions, reporting recent results obtained. With regard to existence, shading patterns are exhibited for which there is no corresponding object shape. Specifically, a necessary and sufficient condition is presented for a circularly symmetric eikonal equation to admit exclusively unbounded solutions; additionally, a sufficient condition is given for an eikonal equation to have no solution whatsoever. In connection with uniqueness, we consider eikonal equations, defined over a disc, such that the Euclidean norm of the gradient of any solution is circularly symmetric, vanishes exactly at the disc center, and diverges to infinity as the circumference of the disc is approached. Contrary to earlier influential work, a class of such eikonal equations is shown to possess simultaneously circularly symmetric and noncircularly symmetric bounded smooth solutions.  相似文献

Potential internal contamination of workers is monitored by periodic bioassay measurements interpreted in terms of intake and committed effective dose by the use of biokinetic and dosimetric models. After a prospective evaluation of exposure at a workplace, a suitable monitoring programme can be defined by choosing adequate measurement techniques and frequency. In this study, the sensitivity of a programme is evaluated by the minimum intake and dose, which may be detected with a given level of confidence by taking into account uncertainties on exposure conditions and measurements. This is made for programme optimisation, which is performed by comparing the sensitivities of different alternative programmes. These methods were applied at the AREVA NC reprocessing plant and support the current monitoring programme as the best compromise between the cost of the measurements and the sensitivity of the programme.  相似文献
