ABSTRACT In this research, the effect of particle size on the surface oxidation and flotation behavior of galena in the lime system was studied. Coarse (?0.074 + 0.038 mm), intermediate (?0.038 + 0.025 mm) and fine (?0.025 mm) galena particles were used in the experiment. The dissolution tests, flotation tests, and sorption tests were accomplished. Through further analysis by XPS, the effect of particle size and lime was observed. The decrease of mineral particle sizes increased the adsorption ratio of collector and the dissolution of galena, while the hydrophilic product OH?/Ca(OH)+ produced by dissolution occupied the dominant position, which led to the minerals hydrophilic. 相似文献

An experiment on fitness of one-piece casting osseointegrated implant frameworks was performed among three fixture abument positions where other conditions were controlled. The result revealed that there was statistically significant differences in dimensional change among the three fixture abument positions. In terms of the relation between abument position and fitness, the more backward the abument position was, the worse the osseointegrated framework fitness was. The fast Fourier transform (FFT) is a fundamental kernel of many computation-intensive scientific applications.This paper deals with an implementation of the FFT on the accelerator system,a heterogeneous multi-core architecture to accelerate computation-intensive parallel computing in scientific and engineering applications.The Engineering and Scientific Computation Accelerator (ESCA) consists of a control unit and a single instruction multiple data (SIMD) processing element (PE) array,in which PEs communicate with each other via a hierarchical two-level network-on-chip (NoC) with high bandwidth and low latency.We exploit the architecture features of ESCA to implement a parallel FFT algorithm efficiently.Experimental results show that both the proposed parallel FFT algorithm and the ESCA architecture are scalable.The 16-bit fixed-point parallel FFT performance of ESCA is compared with a published work to prove the superiority of the mapping algorithm and the hardware architecture.The floating-point parallel FFT performances of ESCA are evaluated and compared with those of the IBM Cell processor and GPU to demonstrate the computing power of the ESCA system for high performance applications. 相似文献

SiC whiskers with ″rosary bead″ morphology were synthesized using suitable silicon source and carbon source through solid reaction at the temperature above 1537 K. The diameter and length of the SiC whiskers were about 0.1-1.0 μm and 20-100 μm,respectively. The largest diameter of their enlarged ends of the whiskers was about 0.2-1.0 μm, and it gradually and smoothly decreased to the size of the plain part of the whiskers. The results of X-ray diffraction analysis show that the crystalline structure of the obtained SiC whiskers is β-SiC. It is considered that the SiC whiskers grow via a vapor-solid mechanism. 相似文献

Isolated graphene nanoribbons(GNRs)usually have energy gaps,which scale with their widths,owing to the lateral quantum confinement effect of GNRs.The absence of metallic GNRs limits their applications in device interconnects or being one-dimensional physics platform to research amazing properties based on metallicity.A recent study published in Science provided a novel method to produce metallic GNRs by inserting a symmetric superlattice into other semiconductive GNRs.This finding will broader the applications of GNRs both in nanoelectronics and fundamental science. 相似文献
