Future generation wireless multimediacommunications will require efficient Medium AccessControl (MAC) protocols able to guarantee suitable Qualityof Service (QoS) levels for different traffic classes whileachieving a high utilization of radio resources. This paperproposes a new scheduling technique to be adopted at the MAClevel in wireless access systems, named Dynamic Scheduling-Time DivisionDuplexing (DS-TDD), that efficiently managesvideo, voice, Web and background traffics. A theoretical approachis proposed in this paper to evaluate the DS-TDD performance withvoice and Web traffics. Simulation results have permitted tohighlight the following promising characteristics of the DS-TDDscheme: (i) a high capacity of real-time traffics isattained with a QoS insensitive to Web and background trafficloads; (ii) a high throughput can be guaranteed whilepreserving the QoS levels of the different traffic classes;(iii) heavier downlink traffic loads do not modify the QoSof uplink traffics. 研究了高温固溶后降温处理工艺对中强可使预析出LC52和7039铝合金的组织、时效硬化和应力腐蚀的影响。金相观察发现,高温预析出可优先在晶界处产生,并提高随后时效状态下晶界析出相的不连续分布程度,温度降低到一定程度晶内和晶界产生大量析出。合金拉伸性能和应力腐蚀结果表明,预析出在保持强度和塑性的同时,可提高抗应力腐蚀性能。而预析出温度降低,合金强度呈下降趋势。 相似文献

This study develops a mathematical model for coupled heat and mass transfer in an unsaturated porous slab exposed to a flowing hot gas. Effects of the initial saturation conditions on associated variables, i.e., total pressure, temperature, moisture content, and multiphase flow, are studied. The Newton-Raphson method based on a finite volume technique is applied. This study emphasizes the influence of initial saturation level and gravitational effect in heat and multiphase flow phenomena associated with this system. Gravity enhances the downward flow of liquid within the porous slab. Pressure buildup occurs near the interface between the wet and the dry zone. However, it appears that the order of magnitude to the total pressure is small. This study explains the fundamental mechanism of multiphase flow that involves heat and mass transfer in a heated unsaturated porous slab. 相似文献

Numerical and experimental predictions of pressure drops in the flow of Newtonian fluids through sinusoidally constricted tubes (SCT) are carried out. The numerical evaluations analyzed in this work are obtained from the following methods: Geometric Iteration (GJM), Geometric Iteration with First and Second Upwinds (GIM1, GIM2), Successive Over Relaxation by Line (SORBLM), Global Galerkin Spectral Method (GGSM), Collocation (CM) and Dufort-Frankel (DFM). The GIM1, GIM2 and SORBLM are applied to SCT and explained in this work. The other methods have been previously reported in the literature with the same purpose. Experiments are accomplished for constrictions of approximately 40,60 and 80% of the average tube diameter and results compare well with numerical predictions of the steady flow. It is concluded that special attention should be given to evaluations of the friction factor ƒ for Reynolds numbers Re between the onsets of flow separation and turbulence due to flow instability. A finite element formulation and the solution of a set of nonlinear coupled heat and mass transfer equations for a two-phase system with a moving evaporation interface is presented. The interface condition takes into account the moisture transfer balance at the moving boundary. The finite element results were compared with existing results for a single phase system for model validation. In the two-phase system, the movement of evaporation front has an appreciable effect on the temperature and moisture distribution inside the porous medium during drying. The effect of the nondimensional heat of vapourization parameter γ on the evaporation front, temperature and moisture distribution in porous medium was studied. The higher the value of γ, the slower is the movement of the evaporation front. The temperature decreased and the moisture content increased as the nondimensional vapourization parameter γ increased. This model has potential applications in studying the heat and mass transfer characteristics in food and biomaterials. 相似文献

An analysis is presented of longitudinal waves in a thin elastic column. Velocity is specified at one end, and the boundary condition at the other end is expressed in terms of a range of effective impedances of an attached structure. Propagation, reflection and interference of the waves are followed by the method of characteristics. Integration of differential equations along characteristics yields the wave-induced stress, which is then applied to problems of earthquake excitation. The results of a parametric study of torsional coupling effects in the response of asymmetric buildings to a grouped selection of 45 strong motion earthquakes from Europe, North America, the Middle East and Southern Pacific are presented. The period dependency of the key response parameters is studied in relation to the site dependent criteria employed by certain earthquake-resistant design codes for specifying the lateral shear forces to be resisted by the structural frames and/or walls. Unlike lateral forces, the torsional response is relatively insensitive to the ration of peak ground accelaration to velocity, which has been used in previous studies as a measure of the effect on earthquake ground motions of site soil conditions and epicentral distance. The results show that the effect of torsional coupling on edge displacement response is more pronounced in stiff, short period structures. However, the dynamic shear and torque responses are relatively insensitive to variations in structural period. Codified design provisions for torsional effects specified in the United States, Canadian and European seismic building regulations are assessed, along with alternative proposals, in relation to the analytical results. It is concluded that in some cases special provisions are needed for short period asymmetric systems, a feature which has been neglected by the codes and inadequately accounted for in previous proposals. 相似文献
