A charge sharing–based switching scheme for SAR ADCs

This paper presents an energy-efficient switching scheme for successive approximation register (SAR) analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). The proposed scheme employs charge recycling method to keep the capacitor arrays free of transitional energy between bit generations except reset phase. In comparison with the conventional switching scheme, the proposed one achieves 100% transitional energy saving without considering reset phase. In addition, configuration of a 10-bit SAR ADC shows that the proposed switching scheme reduces the capacitor area by 25% compared with the conventional switching scheme.

An 8-bit, 200 MSPS Folding and Interpolating ADC

An 8-bit, 200 MSPS folding and interpolating analog-to-digitalconverter, ADC, has been implemented in a 1.2 µmBiCMOS-process. It achieves 7.5 effective bits with a power dissipationof 575mW. The active area is 4mm². The implementationand measured results are presented. A simple analytical modelfor the interpolation-induced nonlinearity in a folding and interpolatingADC using sinusoidal folding is presented. The bowing of thereference ladder due to interaction with the input stages isanalyzed, and analytical models are derived.     

A novel open-loop high-speed CMOS sample-and-hold

A new open-loop high-speed CMOS sample-and-hold is presented. Based on new method for further reduction of voltage-dependent charge injection, a new CMOS sample-and-hold was designed. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of this method. Over 10 dB improvement in signal-to-noise ratio, compared to the signal-to-noise ratio of conventional bottom plate sampling S/Hs was achieved with this method. A comparison between newly designed S/H and the bottom-plate sampling S/H is presented.

基于FPGA的Σ-ΔADC转换器的设计和实现

针对瞬时采样方法只适合变频器模拟量比较平滑且采样频率较高的场合和平均值采样法要求采样频率高、运算速度快的问题,设计了一种基于FPGA的Σ-ΔADC转换器,介绍了Σ-ΔADC转换器的结构原理和Sinc3滤波器的设计。该转换器将Σ-Δ调制器和FPGA有效结合,既提高了采样精度,也提高了模拟信号传输的抗干扰能力及检测装置耐压的能力。实验验证了该转换器的正确性。     

ADC12铝合金在水蒸汽中的腐蚀行为

铸态和固溶化处理的ADC12铝合金在90℃水蒸汽中的腐蚀试验表明：铸态铝合金基体腐蚀是以Al-Cu为基的第二相化合物，而以Al-Fe为基的化合物不会引起基体腐蚀；经固溶化处理的铝合金基体腐蚀是由Al-Fe为基的化合物引起的，并且是以含Cu的Al-Fe化合物周围优先被腐蚀。
