In this article, we describe a knowledge-based controlled platform using program supervision techniques. This platform eases
the creation and the configuration of video surveillance systems. Several issues need to be addressed to provide a correct
system configuration: (1) to choose, among a library of programs, those which are best satisfying a given user request, (2)
to assign a correct value for each program parameter, (3) to evaluate performances and to guarantee a performance rate which
is satisfactory regarding end-user requirements. This platform is composed of three main components: the library of programs,
the knowledge base and the control component. The knowledge is either given by experts or learnt by the system. The control
is generic in the sense that it is independent of any application. To validate this platform, we have built and evaluated
six video surveillance systems which are featured with three properties: adaptability, reliability and real-time processing. 相似文献

Motion perception is arguably a fundamental mechanism used by natural species to accomplish a number of tasks, such as navigating freely in an unknown environment. Traditional motion perception methods tend to be computationally intensive, requiring powerful computers and large memories. However, by copying biological mechanisms, such as elementary motion discrimination at the early stages of the visual processing paths, it should be possible to build small and efficient motion perception systems. This paper describes the manner in which a simple motion perception model based on the insect visual system has been implemented using mixed analog/digital VLSI. The device has been fabricated in a 2 micron double metal, double polysilicon process, and comprises 61 photo-detectors, and associated analog and digital circuitry. While not entirely successful in that component mismatches hamper the detection of dark-to-bright changes in contrast, the results clearly show the feasibility of using such a device in autonomous control systems. 相似文献

Inverse surface design problems from light transport behavior specification usually represent extremely complex and costly processes, but their importance is well known. In particular, they are very interesting for lighting and luminaire design, in which it is usually difficult to test design decisions on a physical model in order to avoid costly mistakes. We extend a dynamic approach of behavior generation to the representation of spatial information. Two levels of dynamics integrate dead-reckoning, dominant far from home bases, and piloting, dominant near home bases. When the view-based piloting system recognizes a home base, visual place information recalibrates the dead-reckoning system, inverting the hierarchical ordering of the two dynamic levels by time scale inversion. Reference views taken at discrete home bases are recognized invariantly under rotation of views. This process yields compass information. Continuous translational information is obtained as a neural place representation built from view correlations with a scattered set of local views. This self-calibrating cognitive map couples into a dynamics of heading direction integrating the behaviors of obstacle avoidance and target acquisition. Targets can be designated in terms of the cognitive map. We demonstrate the dynamical model in simulation. 相似文献

We present a new post processing method of simulating depth of field based on accurate calculations of circles of confusion. Compared to previous work, our method derives actual scene depth information directly from the existing depth buffer, requires no specialized rendering passes, and allows easy integration into existing rendering applications. Our implementation uses an adaptive, two‐pass filter, producing a high quality depth of field effect that can be executed entirely on the GPU, taking advantage of the parallelism of modern graphics cards and permitting real time performance when applied to large numbers of pixels. 相似文献

水果大小是水果分级的一个重要依据,随着计算机技术和图像处理技术的飞速发展,计算机视觉技术被广泛用于水果品质的检测。所设计的水果大小自动分级系统由机器视觉检测系统和基于PLC的水果传送分拣机构组成。使用LabbVIEW软件编写水果大小自动分级系统的监控界面,并实现对CCD摄像机的控制及获取图片;使用IMAQ Vision工具包对所获取的水果图片进行处理,并进行大小分析,根据大小的等级由LabVIEW通过串口通信发送命令给PLC,由PLC控制水果的传送并进入对应的分级口,从而完成水果的自动分级。实际运行证明该系统能实时进行动态采集图片,有效地进行水果大小分析及自动分级。 相似文献

Capturing exposure sequences to compute high dynamic range (HDR) images causes motion blur in cases of camera movement. This also applies to light‐field cameras: frames rendered from multiple blurred HDR light‐field perspectives are also blurred. While the recording times of exposure sequences cannot be reduced for a single‐sensor camera, we demonstrate how this can be achieved for a camera array. Thus, we decrease capturing time and reduce motion blur for HDR light‐field video recording. Applying a spatio‐temporal exposure pattern while capturing frames with a camera array reduces the overall recording time and enables the estimation of camera movement within one light‐field video frame. By estimating depth maps and local point spread functions (PSFs) from multiple perspectives with the same exposure, regional motion deblurring can be supported. We present a novel approach to recording and computing panorama light fields. In contrast to previous methods that estimate panorama light fields from focal stacks or naive multi‐perspective image stitching, our approach is the first that processes ray entries directly and does not require depth reconstruction or matching of image features. Arbitrarily complex scenes can therefore be captured while preserving correct occlusion boundaries, anisotropic reflections, refractions, and other light effects that go beyond diffuse reflections of Lambertian surfaces. 相似文献
