On the thermally-induced seizure in bearings: A review

This paper presents a state-of-the-art survey of papers reported on the nature of a troublesome failure mode in bearings known as seizure. This mode of failure is thermally-induced and it occurs in both journal and rolling element bearings. To gain insight, particular attention is given to reported experimental observation, various mechanisms involved, and available prediction methodologies.     

Editorial.

With this volume, the 47-year old Canadian Journal of Psychology takes a new name and makes a renewed commitment. In retitling the journal the Canadian Journal of Experimental Psychology, the intention is to reflect more clearly what has always been the major goal of the journal--to publish the best new research in experimental psychology, both Canadian and international, in both French and English. I am honoured to become the tenth editor of the major journal for experimental psychology in Canada. CJP has served the field very well; my primary goal is to ensure that CJEP continues to do so. 基于块不完全分解的共轭梯度法求解雷诺方程的算法研究

本文提出一种新的求解径向滑动轴承雷诺方程的算法--基于块不完全分解的共轭梯度(BIFCG）法，通过大量的数值试验，分析了影响该算法求解精度的几种因素。并对迭代步数、计算时间等与SOR法进行了研究。     

President’s column.

This presidential column announces the significant internal changes of Division 13 of the Consulting Psychology Journal. The journal is now published by the Educational Publishing Foundation, which is associated with the American Psychological Association in order to increase the quality, quantity, and diversity of submissions to the journal. The author outlines the steps that will be taken to make the Division a more viable and inviting organization for members in ways that are obvious and easily accessible to them. 《陕西理工学院学报》（自然科学版）作者群现状分析

对2006年—2009年《陕西理工学院学报》（自然科学版）出版的16期学报载文的署名作者信息进行统计分析。结果显示,《陕西理工学院学报》（自然科学版）载文的论文合著率和合著度较高,且总体上呈逐年上升趋势;作者群的性别、职称结构符合我国科技人员的分布规律;作者群以正处于科研能力发展期和研究精力旺盛期的校内外中青年科研工作者为主,《学报》的作者队伍会持续壮大;稿源分布于23个省、自治区和直辖市,《学报》社会影响力和传播广度有了较大程度的提升,已经拥有一支年轻化、有活力、相对稳定的作者群队伍。这对《学报》进一步提高学术水平、更好地实现社会功能、提高社会效益起到基础保障作用。     

《中国腐蚀与防护学报》1996～2000年引文统计分析

对《中国腐蚀与防护学报》在1996－2000年5年间出版的所有论文的参考文献进行了统计,分析了引文时、引文类型、引文语种、高频被引的中外文期刊、刊自引率、基金论文比、引文文献的半衰期、普赖斯指数等各个指导及从中所反映的论文情况和刊物情况,并对刊物的今后发展提出了建议。     

Trends in psychotherapy process research: Samples, measures, researchers, and classic publications.

Psychotherapy studies published in the Journal of Counseling Psychology (JCP) and the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology (JCCP) between 1978 and 1992 were examined. Differences were found between the 2 journals. JCP published mostly process, outcome, and analog research, whereas JCCP published mostly outcome research. Most process and process-outcome studies across journals were of individual, brief therapy. Across the years, more diversity was evident in samples used in process research in terms of student status, gender, and race of clients and therapists. Three content areas were prominent in the process measures and classic studies: therapist techniques, therapist influence, and facilitative conditions.
