Phosphorus adsorption tests were carried out using poly-aluminum chloride sludge (PACS), which was collected from a water treatment plant in Nanjing. The amount of phosphorus adsorbed by PACS increased quickly within the first hour and reached equilibrium after about 48 h. The adsorption behavior of PACS for phosphorus is consistent with the Langmuir adsorption isotherm equation (R2 > 0.99) and parallel first-order kinetic equation (R2 > 0.98). With the increase of the PACS concentration, the adsorption capacity of PACS for phosphorus decreased, and the removal rate increased. The results of batch tests showed that the adsorption capacities of PACS for phosphorus ranged from 1.64 to 1.13 mg/g when the pH value varied from 4 to 10. However, the adsorption capacity of PACS was not evidently influenced by temperature. In comparison with the ion exchange resin, the adsorption capacity of PACS was barely inhibited by competitive ions, such as SO42, NO3, and Cl. The PACS surface after adsorption became smooth, and the vibration peaks of Al–O and Al–OH shifted. Both HCl and NaOH have a strong desorption effect on PACS after adsorption saturation, and with higher concentrations of HCl and NaOH, the desorption effect was stronger. Results of column adsorption experiments showed that with lower phosphorus and hydraulic loads, the adsorption column took longer to reach saturation. This indicated that PACS could be used as an efficient material for removal of phosphorus from water. This study provides a new treatment method with PACS.  相似文献

High Al content AlxGa1−xN/GaN multiple quantum well (MQW) films with different interlayers were grown by metal organic chemical vapor deposition. These MQWs were designed to achieve intersubband (ISB) absorption in the mid-infrared spectral range. We have considered two growth conditions, with AlGaN interlayer and GaN/AlN superlattice (SL) interlayer, both deposited on GaN-on-sapphire templates. Atomic force microscopy images show a relatively rough surface with atomic-step terraces and surface depression, mainly dominated by dislocations. High-resolution X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy analyses indicate that good crystalline quality of the AlGaN/GaN MQW layer could be achieved when the AlGaN interlayer is inserted. The ISB absorption with a peak at 3.7 μm was demonstrated in MQW films with AlGaN interlayer. However, we have not observed the infrared absorption in MQW films with GaN/AlN SL interlayer. It is believed that the high dislocation density and weaker polarization that resulted from the rough interface are determinant factors of vanished ISB absorption for MQW films with the GaN/AlN SL interlayer.  相似文献

Abstract

This work covers an advanced investigation of the single crystal growth process for fullerenic materials and the contribution of Raman and IR spectroscopy to the understanding of the fcc high temperature rotor phase and the low temperature sc ratchet phase of pristine C60. In addition substantial research contributions to the understanding of alkali metal doped fullerenes are presented.

Alkali metal doped crystals are studied with particular attention to the line broadening in the superconducting A 3C60 phase and to the phases with stoichiometry A1C60. For the former electron-phonon coupling constants could be determined for all fivefold degenerated gerade modes and a total coupling strenght of λ = 0.90 was found. For the latter the different experimental conditions for obtaining the phase separated intermediate state or alternatively the orthorhombic polymeric state are analysed. Vibrational spectra for the polymeric state obtained from phototransformation and from mono alkali metal doping are found to be characteristically different, mainly with respect to the intensity of the Raman or IR response. Finally, research results obtained from the single crystals by various other techniques like thermal expansion or low frequency elastic deformation are summarized.  相似文献

MgB2 bulk samples added with nano SiO2 and/or nano diamond were prepared by powder-in-sealed-tube (PIST) method and the effects of addition on structural and superconducting properties were studied. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed that the addition caused systematic reduction in ‘a’ lattice parameter due to the substitution of C atoms at B sites and the strain caused by reacted intragrain nano particles of Mg2Si as evinced by transmission electron microscope image. Scanning electron microscopy images showed distinct microstructural variations with SiO2/diamond addition. It was evident from DC magnetization measurements that the in-field critical current density [JC(H)] of doped samples did not fall drastically like the undoped sample. Among the doped samples the JC(H) of co-doped samples were significantly higher and the best co-doped sample yielded a JC, an order of magnitude more than the undoped one at 5 K and 8 T.  相似文献

针对当前大型影像设备所产生的影像数据量巨大,临床医生浏览体验差的现实情况,采用引入基于PACS的电子胶片系统,将数量巨大的、不易准确把握的影像数据简化为直观、易把握的电子胶片,并以符合DICOM标准的方式进行存储、浏览。结合影像科室、临床医生、患者、信息管理部门等多方实际使用过程中反馈的信息,我们可以得出基于PACS的电子胶片系统能够为影像科室、临床医生、患者提供三方共赢的良好效果,是对PACS具有积极意义的功能扩展,使得整个PACS更加灵活高效,为医疗机构、患者带来高效的支持与保障。  相似文献

Abstract

The growth of C60 thin films on mica by Hot Wall Epitaxy was studied using high resolution X - ray diffraction. The influence of the Hot Wall source-, wall- and substrate temperature on the crystalline quality of the C60 films was investigated by determining the full width at half maximum (FWHM) Δω of the C60 - (111) reflex in ω - direction (i. e. rocking curve). With the optimal parameters of growth (substrate temperature = 140 C, growth rate = 0.5 Å/s) it is possible to grow 150 nm thick C60 films with an ω - scan FWHM Δω of about 200 arcsec, the best value reported so far, indicating the growth of a perfect monocrystalline C60 layer. Rocking curves of thicker films exhibit a complex shape, which is interpreted as a result of a change in the growth mode of C60 films exceeding a critical thickness. In addition surface cracks appearing on the C60 film surface are investigated using digital image processing. Atomic force microscopy- and photoluminescence measurements performed on the thin films complete this study.  相似文献

Traditionally, wireless cellular communication systems have been engineered for voice. With the explosive growth of Internet applications and users, there is an increasing demand on providing Internet services to mobile users based on the voice-oriented cellular networks. However, Internet services add a set of radically different requirements on to the cellular wireless networks, because the nature of communication is very different from voice. It is a challenge to develop an adequate network architecture and necessary systems components to meet those requirements.This paper describes our experience on developing Internet services, in particular, mobile and multicast IP services, in PACS (Personal Access Communication Systems). Our major contributions are five-fold: (i) PACS system architecture that provides wireless Internet and Intranet access by augmenting the voice network with IP routers and backbone links to connect to the Internet; (ii) simplified design of RPCU (Radio Port Controller Unit) for easy service maintenance and migration to future IP standards such as IPv6; (iii) native PACS multicast to efficiently support dynamic IP multicast and MBone connectivity; (iv) optimization and incorporation of Mobile IP into PACS handoff mechanism to efficiently support roaming within a PACS network as well as global mobility between PACS networks and the Internet; (v) successful prototype design of the new architecture and services verified by extensive performance measurements of IP applications. Our design experience and measurement results demonstrate that it is highly feasible to seamlessly integrate the PACS networks into the Internet with global IP mobility and IP multicast services.  相似文献

Thethermodynamic state function free energy F(T,V,N) as function of the cluster distribution N and the thermodynamic parameters (temperature T and volume V) is calculated in the canonical ensemble. With the help of the Legendre transformation we get all other state functions for different boundary conditions. Monte Carlo simulations with 15000 particles starting from metastable homogeneous initial conditions are made for water and methanol. The Bethe-Weizsäcker ansatz and the Padé approximation are used for the binding energy of clusters. A first-order phase transition is observed under appropriate conditions.  相似文献
