It was shown by Zames and Shneydor and later by Mossaheb that a high-frequency dither signal of a quite arbitrary shape can be used to narrow the effective nonlinear sector of Lipschitz continuous feedback systems. In this paper, it is shown that also discontinuous nonlinearities of feedback systems can be narrowed using dither, as long as the amplitude distribution function of the dither is absolutely continuous and has bounded derivative. The averaged system is proven to approximate the dithered system with an error of the order of dither period.  相似文献

针对冗余训练样本会降低BMA参数求解效率与精度问题,本文提出在BMA运算之前采用k-最近邻(k-nearest neighbor)算法筛选有价值训练样本,并用于BMA参数求解的改进模型。模拟试验在淮河王家坝站进行,分别以k-最近邻筛选、不筛选两种方案为BMA提供训练样本,统计分析两种方案中王家坝站流量模拟结果,评价BMA改进法的性能。模拟结果显示,采用k-最近邻样本筛选方法后,BMA模型对洪水过程以及洪峰的预报精度提升明显;概率预报结果的离散程度降低的同时,可靠性程度获得提升。k-最近邻样本筛选方法的引入,能够有效去除BMA模型训练样本中的冗余数据,以少量的样本获得更可靠的模型参数,改善集合预报性能。  相似文献

贝叶斯模型加权平均(BMA)方法是通过综合几个模型预报值的后验分布来推断预报量的更可靠概率分布分析工具。它不仅能提供一个综合的预报值,还能提供一个综合的预报区间。本文采用3个水文模型,统一用SCE-UA算法率定参数,得到3组不同的预报值用于BMA方法的综合,着重分析比较BMA和单个模型的预报不确定性区间,来检验贝叶斯模型加权平均方法是否能提高预报的可靠性。结果表明,BMA方法不仅能提高预报精度,还能推求出性质更为优良的预报区间,提高预报的可靠性。  相似文献

Employing multiple sensors that generate different physical parameters from the measured system to monitor its health increases the diagnosis reliability. In the present work, bearing diagnosis capabilities of proximity probes are explored by exploiting its advantages and alleviating its shortcomings using appropriate signal processing of the raw time domain data. A Time Synchronous Averaging based method is proposed for processing of the data acquired by proximity probes and its benefit is illustrated on test bearings. Simultaneous synchronous data is acquired with the help of proximity probes and accelerometer during a life test as the defect is naturally induced and progressed with time. The proximity probe is shown to perform better diagnosis for inner race defect compared to accelerometer due to a direct transmission path for this defect. The use of proximity probe can effectively supplement the information from accelerometer and improve the accuracy of bearing diagnosis.  相似文献

The order reduction method for singularly perturbed optimal control systems consists of employing the system obtained while setting the small parameter to zero. In many situations the differential-algebraic system thus obtained indeed provides an appropriate approximation to the singularly perturbed optimal control problem under consideration. In this paper we show, however, that the set of singularly perturbed optimal control systems for which the order reduction approach is invalid is dense (in the L norm) in the class of systems which we consider.  We show, for two different definitions of semiglobal practical external stability, that the stability property holds on semi-infinite time intervals if and only if it holds on arbitrarily long but finite time intervals. These results have immediate applications in the analysis of the stability properties of highly oscillatory systems with inputs using averaging or for systems with inputs that are slowly varying. Singularly perturbed differential equations with slow and fast subsystems are under consideration. It is well-known that the invariant probability measures of the unperturbed fast subsystems produce a limiting system for the slow subsystem. Unfortunately, the limiting system is non-smooth in general and might be too big since it also generates trajectories that are not related to the singularly perturbed system. However, if the flows produced by the unperturbed fast subsystems are chain transitive an inflation of the singularly perturbed system can be used in order to approximate all trajectories of the limiting system. Moreover, it turns out that the reachable sets of the limiting system are contained in the reachable sets of the slightly inflated singularly perturbed system.  相似文献

Online frequency estimation of a sinusoidal signal is a classical problem and has many practical applications. Recently an adaptive notch filter (ANF) with global convergence property has been developed for frequency estimation of a pure sinusoidal signal. This paper addresses a modified ANF structure that can estimate the fundamental frequency of any periodic signal including pure sinusoidal signals. To prove the stability of the modified ANF, the paper introduces a new theorem that shows for any periodic signal, there exists a locally asymptotically stable periodic orbit of this ANF by which the frequency estimation becomes feasible. This alternative stability proof is simple and uses widely known mathematical tools, and therefore alleviates the problem complexity even when the input signal is a pure sinusoidal signal. A further contribution of this paper is obtaining a necessary and sufficient condition in terms of design parameters for local asymptotical stability of the modified ANF. This condition, obtained from the numerical study of Floquet multipliers of a linear time-varying periodic system, provides a strict stability region in the modified ANF design parameters space.  相似文献
