在当前多种平台崛起的互联网背景下,与传统媒体相比,网络社交媒体中的数据具有传递速度快、用户参与度高、内容覆盖全等特点,其中存在着人们关注并发布评论的众多话题,而一个话题的相关信息中可能存在更深层次、更细粒度的子话题,针对该问题进行基于网络社交媒体的子话题检测技术的研究,这是一个新兴且不断发展的研究领域。通过社交媒体获取话题及子话题信息并参与讨论,这一方式正全方位、深层次改变着人们的生活,但是该领域技术还不成熟,且相关研究在国内尚处于起步阶段。首先,简述网络社交媒体中子话题检测的发展背景和基本概念;其次,将子话题检测技术分为七大类,对每类方法均加以介绍、对比和总结;然后,将子话题检测方式分为在线检测和离线检测两种方式,并将这两种方式进行对比,列举通用技术及两种方式下的常用技术;最后,概括了该领域当前不足及未来发展趋势。 相似文献

Topic modeling is a popular analytical tool for evaluating data. Numerous methods of topic modeling have been developed which consider many kinds of relationships and restrictions within datasets; however, these methods are not frequently employed. Instead many researchers gravitate to Latent Dirichlet Analysis, which although flexible and adaptive, is not always suited for modeling more complex data relationships. We present different topic modeling approaches capable of dealing with correlation between topics, the changes of topics over time, as well as the ability to handle short texts such as encountered in social media or sparse text data. We also briefly review the algorithms which are used to optimize and infer parameters in topic modeling, which is essential to producing meaningful results regardless of method. We believe this review will encourage more diversity when performing topic modeling and help determine what topic modeling method best suits the user needs. 相似文献

The Internet of things (IoT) has been considered as one of the promising paradigms that can allow people and objects to seamlessly interact. So far, numerous applications and services have been proposed, such as retrieval service. The retrieval, however, faces a big challenge in IoT because the data belongs to different domains and user interaction with the surrounding environment is constrained. This paper proposes Acrost, a retrieval system based on topic discovery and semantic awareness in IoT environment. The initial contents with interesting information is obtained through the combination of two topic centric collectors. The metadata is extracted by aggregating regular expression-based and conditional random fields-based approaches. Moreover, the semantic-aware retrieval is achieved by parsing the query and ranking the relevance of contents. In addition, we present a case study on academic conference retrieval to validate the proposed approaches. Experimental results show that the proposed system can significantly improve the response time and efficiency of topic self-adaptive retrieval manner. 相似文献

Parameter estimation is a cornerstone of most fundamental problems of statistical research and practice. In particular, finite mixture models have long been heavily relied on deterministic approaches such as expectation maximization (EM). Despite their successful utilization in wide spectrum of areas, they have inclined to converge to local solutions. An alternative approach is the adoption of Bayesian inference that naturally addresses data uncertainty while ensuring good generalization. To this end, in this paper we propose a fully Bayesian approach for Langevin mixture model estimation and selection via MCMC algorithm based on Gibbs sampler, Metropolis–Hastings and Bayes factors. We demonstrate the effectiveness and the merits of the proposed learning framework through synthetic data and challenging applications involving topic detection and tracking and image categorization. 相似文献

YouTube (owned by Google Inc.) is arguably among most popular social media platforms used by millions across the globe. It provides an ever-growing, unique and rich source of content which presents new opportunities and challenges for information discovery and analysis. It is pertinent to explore and understand a topic via YouTube content to discover interesting information about public opinions and sentiments. This paper presents an integrated framework to facilitate the acquisition, storage, management, processing, and visualization of relevant content with the objective to assist in such analysis. It not only collects a significant portion of content, relevant to a given topic, in short time but also offers tools for visual exploratory analysis such as; (i) temporal evolution, (ii) vocabulary network, (iii) authors relative popularity and influence (iv) categories and (v) user communities and influencers. 根据专业搜索引擎的特点,提出了一种新颖的基于词语共现与HITS算法的查询推荐算法QR-CH(Query Recommendation algorithm based on word Co-occurrence and HITS algorithm)。该算法一方面利用HITS算法对基于词语共现筛选出的关联词按语义关联性进行排序,选取排序靠前的关联词作为推荐词,提高了推荐词与原查询词的相关性;另一方面使用HITS算法排序关联文档,从查询结果文档集的角度来判断推荐是否冗余,降低了推荐词的冗余性。该算法将推荐相关的信息存储到知识树中,利用知识树实现查询推荐。实验结果表明QR-CH算法在推荐词的相关性和冗余词的判断方面均优于文献中已有的类似算法。 相似文献

This paper presents a non-parametric topic model that captures not only the latent topics in text collections, but also how the topics change over space. Unlike other recent work that relies on either Gaussian assumptions or diseretization of locations, here topics are associated with a distance dependent Chinese Restaurant Process (ddCRP), and for each document, the observed words are influenced by the document's GPS-tag. Our model allows both unbound number and flexible distribution of the geographical variations of the topics' content.
