| Abstract: | An investigation of the high zinc content in the charges of No. 1 BF at SISG was undertaken, and the harm of the metal to the BF elucidated. Precautions against agglomeration in high-zinc smelting are proposed, so as to minimize the hazards of the zinc metals, to keep a long-term smooth operation of the BF, to extend the BF＇s life time, and hence to gain better technical and economic benefits. |
