A Convolution Method for Solving the Dimension Chain

Many parameter methods for solving the dimension chain have been developed since the 1950' s. They are not strict in theory and have inherent method errors. Applying the convolution method described in this paper, we can obtain the closed link parameters from the distributions and not the parameters of the composing link. Consequently, the method errors will be eliminated.
