| Abstract: | This paper presents the development and application status of Midrex and HyLⅢ gas - based shaft furnace technology and the new technology of not relaying on natural gas but directly using coal gasification, etc. as reduction agent on the basis of Midrex and HyL Ⅲ technology and points out that the gas - based shaft furnace technology has characteristics of low energy consumption and investment, high product quality. |
