| Abstract: | The solidified shell thickness of slab in the secondary cooling zone on slab caster was studied by using of nail-shooting technique.On the basis of the results of shell thickness,the solidification coefficient and liquid core length can be deduced under certain conditions,which will contribute greatly to the high quality production of slab. |
