Abstract:The aircraft lightning attachment point test is an important method to determine the aircraft lightning attachment zone and to evaluate aircraft by test.It can provide basis for aircraft lightning protection design,and test and verify the characteristic of aircraft lightning protection.According to the China aviation industry standard HB 6129—1987 The Requirements of Aircraft Lightning Protection and Test Method,the lightning attachment point test has been performed to a scale model of airplane.The lightning attachment zone is determined,and the result is agreed with the actual lightning experience of F-4 aircraft.The technical factors that related to the laboratory test such as test method,the model scale,gap spacing,discharging polar relative position respect to the model and the lightning discharging theory have been discussed in detail.The useable of the test method has been proved,and the experience of the related test research work behind has been accumulated.
