| Abstract: | The surface equations for the hub teeth and sleeve teeth of a conjugate surfaces crown gear coupling are given. The contacting condition of meshing process is analyzed. The formula to calculate the contact ratio is deduced. Some conclusions are drawn from the calculation and analysis of the relations between contact ratio and parameters. |
