Accelerated diagnostics of high-voltage circuit breakers

Diagnostics of high-voltage circuit breakers (HVCBs) is considered on the basis of an analysis of digital records generated by a multichannel digital recorder. A technique of the accelerated control of HVCB characteristics in switching on/off modes without opening the breaker tanks is described. Oscillograms are presented, which characterize time, velocity, and operational parameters of HVCBs, as well as the intrinsic time of the breaker switch on/off.
