Low walls in traditional Chinese gardens are mainly used to separate space, offer background scenery or block sight. There are often openwork windows and different kinds of doors in them, forming a variety of real--unreal comparison and bright-- dim contrast, and presenting rich and colorful changes. The Lin Family Garden in Banciao, belonging to Lingnan Garden School and having the perfect combination of landscaping and Chinese cultural psychology, is well--known for its various decorative open window. This paper discusses the beauty of humanities in the decorative open window of Lingnan Gardens.
