Abstract: | ![]() Objective: To explore the relationship between employment/disability and selected demographic, biological, and functionality variables for people living with HIV/AIDS. Study Design: Cross-sectional, correlational analysis. Setting: Outpatient HIV/AIDS immunosupression clinic. Main Outcome Measure: Participant employment and disability status. Results: Results of a forced-entry hierarchical logistic regression analysis indicated that race, age, CD-4, and measures of mental and physical functionality significantly predicted employment/disability among study participants. Conclusions: Demographic, biological, and functionality variables represent important predictors of employment and disability among people living with HIV/AIDS.
