Retrospect, Status, and Expectation for Turbocharger Technology of Vehicle

There has been more than 100 years since the technology of turbocharger appeared in the world.It has been applied in most industrial area,especially in vehicle area,through improvement and modification of itself.In this paper,we discuss the application for turbocharger technology in vehicle and summarize the status for this technology.In order for this reason,firstly we review the development process of the turbocharger technology of vehicle,secondly we especially introduce the production of turbocharger in the area of technology and material.Finally,we give the expectation for the development of turbocharger technology of vehicle in the future.
