Demonstration Study on the Planning of Regional Transportation Corridor——Take Wuhu City for Example

The traffic and transportation mode in the transportation corridor is dominated by water transportation in modern times and by road transportation in the near future. Passenger and cargo transportation flow is in the direction of the Yangtze River Delta region. It is estimated that the transportation corridor in Wuhu city will become a regional traffic center with its connection to the Yangtze River Delta region as the key in its future construction. Its ad- vantages in road transportation corridor will become more and more evident. It is planned that five transportation corridors centered on Wuhu will be formed in the planning of the regional transportation corridor of Wuhu. An umbrella traffic pattern will be formed within the city zone by four transportation corridors.
