Contract management system is an important part of power market operation system.The aim of this paper is to discuss the configuration,function,design principle,data flow,security m echanism and the technical character of the contract m anagem ent system. Especially the viewpoint that E- business technique should be well used and the contract management system should be constructed based on Web technique using Browser/ Server structure is put forward.The contract m anagem ent system that has been developed according to this paper can not only meet with requirements of power market at present,but the development of power market and its operation system is considered also.The system will soon be used in power m arkets of Zhejiang Province and Jilin Province.
