| Abstract: | A nonuniform mech grid algorithm for the lattice Boltzmann method based on interpolation technique, with detailed calculation process, is presented. Classical two dimensional flows, including lid driven cavity flow, steady and unsteady flow around a circular cylinder, are simulated using the algorithm. Calculation results and flow patterns are in agreement with other numerical and experimental results. It is shown that the nonuniform mesh grid algorithm is feasible, efficient and practical. |
