| Abstract: | Irisquinone was synthesized from 3,5-dimethoxybromobenzene through four steps,namely metallation,coupling,demethylation and Teuber oxidation.Irisquinone was synthesized successfully in a total yield of 74%.The structure of the target compound was confirmed by 1HNMR and elemental analysis. |
